I just feel like some of you guys are being a little biased about Marilyn Manson because you're fans. I'm a huge fan of David Bowie but lately I've been questioning his motives too. If one looks at the interviews on youtube with MM, then it is clear he is actually extremely intelligent, and very spiritual.

Apologies, I've only read through page 27 of this thread, but I just want to add that about 8 or 9 years ago I read his autobiography, it was a very interesting and quick read. He had a messed up family and a very sick grandfather and he saw some gross stuff when was young. I don't remember all of it and I'd like to read it again but it gives a great insight into his mind.... of course it could be bullshit but it seemed genuine. I'm no real fan although I like some of his older songs and remakes. I think he's a sick fuck, and I don't like his message, but I am intrigued by his "art" and dark images. Course I don't have this shit hanging on my wall or anything like that. Hell, not too long ago I rid my house of all my horror movies (not that I had that many anyway).
