Symbols fond in Germany!

Hier I have 2 Signs/Symbols I found in my Homecountry:

The first one was taken from Train (the Obelisc) near the Railwaystation and the Jobcenter of Kiel in Northern Germany: Sorry for the bad Quallity - but I´ll try to get a better one next time :o

The 2nd photo was taken in Mannheim-City in Southern Germany: Thats a "nice" one ;)

wohaa that Mannheim shot is indeed a nice1! thx man, germany is a special interest of mine since i spend quiet some time there. its also one of the occult centers europe's.
would be interesting to know what kind of building that is/was ?

btw ever seen the Messeturm in Frankfurt?
