The Alien abduction thing isn't quite as ridiculous, these guy's may be fakes I'm not sure, but these experiences are very real for some people..
Graham Hancock has some interesting theories regarding over production of DMT in the pineal and alien abductions in his latest book Supernatural.

Yes, Penn and Teller certainly are! ;)
I don't get their point here. It's easy to confuse people like this, but isn't that just reinforcing the idea that science can leave laymen open to abuse. Like, as a science teacher at my school said: if you buy some fish and chips and ask them to put sodium chloride and acetic acid on it, they'll call the men in white coats! What? Salt and vinegar?
What they are saying, thought they don't know it, is that we should be suspicious of skeptics!

Yes! Damn good book! I've often thought that aliens have a lot in common with the old stories of being kidnapped by fairies and trolls.

What it shows is that people will basically be for banning anything. It's there mentality on show. They are ignorant of what they sign petitions for.
In other words, just because someone is dressed like a hippy spouting love doesn't mean they are trustworthy.
They will lead you back to being stone age men.

Funny most of the time P and T spend their show going after any subject that isn't mainstream and bashing it. Total shills to me. The Man Show's version of this was way funnier. It had women going for the chocolate diet and giving up their right to vote. ;)

Didn't realise they were into this. I thought they made ice cream.

Well I saw this vid the other day from the 1970s on aliens. It was so weird because this chap said it was an amateur production but immediately it was obvious the whole thing was manufactured by the system. It was set in Switzerland described as "an independent country strong in banking and aggressively neutral". The people interviewed looked distinctly like a cult and they were playing all of this hypnotic music and talking about strange lights. Everyone on the set looked either like a system plant or a naive person being brainwashed. If ever there was a video straight out of Tavistock this one had to be it. I'll try and find out the name of it if you are interested.
you people are right on both counts:
people in general are stupid, they will sign anything, even things they do not understand
and
P & T are working for the "guardian class"
sometimes you can see how both groups operate, just like in original video

OK, I see what you mean.
Still, there are a lot of "hippies" who are not like that and are far more with-it. I wonder if any of the people that woman asked called her bluff; I know for a fact that not all of them are the fools P and T like to portray them as. If they did call her, why don't they appear on the show? I'd like to watch the outtakes!
And I stand by what I said, if some scientist comes up to me trying to flog me a complicated-sounding drug I'll not buy it. It's like the cream called "Urate" you can get in the chemists for skin disorders. It costs £4 a tube! I used it myself for a bit before I learned that "Urate" simply contains urea. There's another source of urea that's easy to obtain free of charge: Piss!

Sure it's called Urate? Can't find anything on the web about it.

Yes, I'm sure. It might have changed it's brand name, but it does exist. Ask a pharmacist.
