This is the theory of my mother.

The whole Matrix theory in her opinion is the Bible re-written in a more interesting way to grab the attention of more people.

-The Matrix = Satan (Evil and controlling us from 'above')
There's us fighting against it trying to become spiritually advanced and find the truth.
(the fight between good and evil)
-Being conscious/concentrating on love = God and belief.
-Infinite love = GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD.

When I stated that most people who believe in God say that humans were created in his image,
she replied that if it was so, then God and Satan are the same thing, if God did create us in 'his' image...
There is no Satan (here) and God (there). They're both the same, she says.
That is why humans are both good and evil and struggle to keep these both sides in balance. Ying and Yang.

She 'believes' the illuminati is real and that they are poisoning our food on purpose, but also that the whole ideology of the Matrix main-computer and so on is like the bible re-written. The Matrix keeps us under control, drains our negative energy (satan in the bible needs servants and people to continue what he started) whereas God in the bible himself caused the flood (causing fear and making us be afraid of him) and could also help us along the way...All-loving God causing floods sounds... (but this theory of God being both Satan/God works well if he would have caused a flood. Lol. Soon you'll hear my brain go *POP*)

It didn't help that I mentioned the fact that some people theorise that who the illuminati worship is Satan/Lucifer, the one who was kicked out of heaven.

And reading this didn't make me any happier:
(About the Matrix movie and the connection to the bible)

Few quotes->

Morpheus - God the father Tank: "Morpheus, you were more than a leader to us. You were a father." Also, John the Baptist, who heralded the coming of Jesus.

Neo Jesus the son Choi: "Hallelujah. You're my savior, man. My own personal Jesus Christ." Neo dies, and returns to life. He is the second coming, sent to save the people. In the gospels, two days after Jesus died, he resurrected and roamed the lands for 40 days breaking bread, appearing to people to tell them about the truth of salvation, showing them the miracle of life, and on the 40th day, he ressurected, soul AND body up into heaven. In the Matrix, 2 minutes after Neo dies, he ressurects, and now roams the matrix and he is going to show the people of the land the truth about their lives and how it isn't the end, it's just the beginning. At the very end of the movie, Neo flies UP into the sky, which seems very similar to Jesus' rising up into the sky and leaving the earth physically as well as his soul.>>

Next quote from: http://www.stargods.org/ReligiousMatrix.htm

What has taken place is that Christians have become part of a religious feel good matrix. It is an artificial spiritual reality that dummies down and blinds its prisoners to the truth. All free thinking is shunned and replaced with warm fuzzy concepts of scripture and Christ. Today people want to escape from reality and do not want to find it. They want their sports, TV, and movies. Church is no exception. Churches have now become entertainment centers for shallow. One can even go to church today for a taste of the latest fashions and and music.

The Bible should be a tool in which we use as a guideline for greater spiritual truths. Many Christians today want to get beyond the "love of Jesus" and wish to know how to deal with real life. Those answers will never come if you remain plugged into the religious matrix of deception.

It is not just the churches that are part of the Matrix, but the entire human society. There is an entire realm of physics that is never taught in school. With the knowledge of real physics, Christians would be able to understand God and the Bible far more clearly than ever before! But this knowledge of energies is hidden from us and only given to the higher levels of the secret societies around the world.

Christians are taught never to seek out knowledge of how this universe operates because it is seen as being witchcraft. Subjects like the Hollow Earth, pre-Adamic races, Pre-flood Atlantis, the Nephilim, aliens, hybrids, clones, etc. are all off bounds if you are plugged into a church Matrix. If you discuss it with other members of your church, you will be told that it does not relate to the love of Jesus and His salvation.

God gave us brains so that we could not only seek Him out on a spiritual level, but also seek him out through science and learning. The churches demand that we never grow and just focus on the "love of Jesus" and salvation, and to keep coming back every week to give more tithes and offerings. Science and God was never meant to be separate! All creation and science is meant to show us the glory of God and His Son Jesus Christ. They both are meant to go hand in hand with each other. Also God never created the Matrix of institutionalized church.

Is the Matrix theory the same story of the bible presented in a brand new packaging? Ay caramba I say!

Yes, quite so. "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

The parallels are even more direct when you compare it to Gnosticism. I mean, the whole thing was that evil Archons had created the world as an illusory prison and harvest our soul juice to feed themselves.

if the world,
or at least life on earth,
would be under complete control of a supreme evil being...

then life on earth would be much more cruel than it is today.
as it is today, the majority of humans and living beings suffer soon or later...

but the chance is small they live a long life that is FULL of suffering.
life on earth today, for most beings usually is some good, some bad, some good, some bad, etc.

if the world would be created by some sort of supreme evil being,
in order to make humans and animals suffer... because it feeds on that,
i guess it wouldn't be some good, some bad, some good, some bad...

but bad all the time !

Bad all the time would incite rebelion. Mixing in some good with mostly bad, gives false hope that things will get better with no personal action taken, passifying the public.

in what way could weak antlike beings like humans rebel against an allpowerful supreme evil being?

i guess the only way to boycot that surpreme evil being would be mass suicide,
but that surpreme evil being could easily prevent that by not giving us the intelligence
and/or the possibility/power to take our own life...

just like a labrat that's stuck in it's cage.

Ah. Well if some supreme evil entity had nothing to counter it, then I guess you would be right.
