View Full Version : I Just Received threatening phone calls Today

Hi! I had ordered some DVD’s from the David Icke Book Shop on the 12th of Jan 2009 and I’m still waiting to receive them. Today I started to get threatening phone calls, The first one was some heavy breathing down the phone line & the sound of running water, The second one told me to butt out and not interfere, And on the last one a voice spoke and said I would not receive my parcels,:eek:
Anybody else had any threats like this. :eek:
How strange and you say this has only happend since you try to buy Davids works, your information and details should be secure you should speak to someone who runs the online store asap.

I emailed David Icke bookshop yesterday and they said my order was sent out on the 12th of January. I'm not sure if somebody is monitoring my phone calls. The Strange thing is I had just been talking to my mum about what had happened to my parcels, then half an hour later somebody rang and said you will not be receiving your parcels. Very weird my mum’s now shaken up o boy.
Maybe someone is playing a prank on you and your parcels are on there way after all you might of told someone you feel close too and think you can trust and they are winding you up threw prank calls etc.

I've never told anybody else apart from my brother and he's too ill with the flu to play pranks.

It sounds crazy!
Dont worry though, the person whos doing it will stop, unless you know somebody who you have pissed off recently.
If they are somehow listening to your calls then use a different line/phone for a while.

Then it seems that you best contact the store again and tell them to make sure they tighten their security as your details may have been leaked somehow this is an issue buts its hard to be sure what is truly going on.

Wow crazy....if your packages dont arrive then you know something is up...if they do arrive then you know it was just a prank.

don't let it worry you.
I know it's easy for me to say.
What can they do. Next time tell them to go fuck themselves:D
Or you could freak them out , make wierd noises back.Or just put the phone down. Don't take it seriously.

This sounds horrible.No chance of some a-hole of a landlord filming you covertly or something? Say if he wants to force tenants out and sell-up...
Trojanised PC is another possibility.Some can exploit the sound system,turning microphone/speakers into a listening device.

Is there any chance that your landlord could of taken your order? Then that would make total sense. If they sent it out on the 12th...it should of arrived by now. Your landlord I am sure knows your number and probably goes through your mail. If so...I would report him to the post office or some other agency.

Dont let it affect you..
Just let them waste their time because it could even be a dodgey prank caller, tryna shake you up.
I think the best thing to do is just carry on how you would have normally, just let everyone know that somone has been bothering you about this sort of thing. So if anything happens you could atleast point it out (not saying it will) ...or just record the phone calls :|..maybe
But the best advice I think I can give you is not to let it affect you mentally. Thats the best imo

We live in a council property so no private landlord. I'll give you all an update tomorrow to see if the phone calls stop & the parcels arrive. Thanks for all your comments.;)

I've sometimes wondered what if I get the PTB trying to harrass me, how would I react ? Well, I am guessing that to start of with I would get pretty shaken up...BUT, I am not gonna change ANYTHING that I do. I will continue doing what I feel is right. I am in this for the duration. I also refuse to fear the consequences of doing what I feel to be right. I am gonna get annoyed sometimes (no doubt about that), but I'm gonna laugh about it.

Perhaps someone nicked the package,if the postman left it on the doorstep.They aren't supposed to leave parcels like that but it does happen.

Keep a harmonica by the phone and when they call, blow that shit as hard as you can directly into the phone. :D
