View Full Version : ...Amatuer psychology for the unemployed...

....Cos ive been unemployed for 6 months,i had to go on this course, the government is trying a new tactic.....a softly, softly psychological approach, where you are told about the positive/negative aspects about being out of work.
But its very materalistic, youre encouraged to think what you want,a car,a house...etc.
To me it all smacked of greed, wanting to get on the property ladder....why?....whats so great about "owning" a pile of bricks.
In germany at least 80% of property is rented.......they arent falling for it.

Really? Wow. I look forward to the time when they ask me to do it. It's nearly 6 months since I last had a job. :D

Same boat here mate, rather enjoy reading books all day though, better than paying interest to the Bank of England with a mortgage and paying taxes towards enslaving us. Enjoy the softly softly approach while it lasts tho...

positive effects of unemployment - excellent shifts (20 minutes a fortnight), free housing, free council tax.
negative effects of unemployment - lousy wages. :o

the government in my country wont help you out unless your activly seeking work.
then they go so far as to work test you. see what your interests background is.
build a case study on you then put you in the first avaible job. even if its nothing they work tested you on . its rediculous.
im a student and have been in and out of the unemployment office many times. they have facilitys setup which some smart cookies exploit'

lol its right. dont be pressured into doing what you dont want to do. i went to one of these places they put you on after 6 months and it was basiclly indoctrination to see if you have the qualitys to work. i felt uncomfterble so never went the next day lol. they stoped me money but who cares. :)

I, preferr to be self unemployed , I wouldn't give those gits down at the job centre the pleasure of getting my signature.
When i am without work I go down there mess them around for ages and dont get trapped into that victim mindset,
There is always summat to do if you are willing to travel
Last decent job I had when travelling was a flower picker on the Scilly Isles
I was ther for 1 year
Only 40 people there in the winter
No crime, No Pollution, No Cars or Roads.
Excellent place
I lived in the Lighthouse on St Agnes
Free
Ate for free,
Caught lobsters for free,
the only thing my wages got spent on was drink and drugs(blow)
Saved £2000 in 4 months
Enough to go round the Greek Islands for 2 months.
Spent the night on Delos,
Forbidden for humans to spend the night here, Sacred Isle and all that,

Ahh .. i've been dodging these courses all my life .. they got me on one when I was a nipper - but since then I've learnt all the tricks and never been on one since. Had my 6 month interview with them about 8 months back - easily dodged - told them I was seriously considering setting up my own business - 4 leaflets later and out of the door no problems.
My 12 monther was a bit more difficult but this time - yep, I am going to start my new business and seriously going to look into it - took a bit of convinicing but .. well, I'll see them again in 12 months ..
One of the keys to it is to get "pally" with them on your sign on days. Have a a laugh and a joke on with them and they then always go easy with you. Idea too is to spend 10 minutes on a non-sign on day and do a job search with them looking for the most obscure jobs that never come up on the available jobs section - then use that job type on your JSA .. works a treat as no jobs ever come in for it and when you give it the "ohhh shucks - bread and water for lunch again .. " routine - your in and out on a sign on day within a minute every time!

I dont sign on
I am the master of my own destiny,
I do as I please
I work for myself, even when I am working for other people,
I play my own game,
With my own rules,
Which continually change,
To suit circumstances,
The system might have got you'

To all the people on this thread, can I recommend self-employment?
You are all obvious intelligent people, reading your posts...but the only
true path to real freedom is being able to create your own wealth ...so
that these bastards have no power over you.
I speak from experience - spent five years unemployed living in bedsits
in london....actually leant a lot ...spend time reading etc.
But at end of the day, hated the power these people had over me
...'you must attend this interview etc...plus the power a landlord
had over me...'I'm sorry ...but we're redeveloping this flat ..so you'll
need to move on'.
My saving grace: Read a book by stuart wilde - 'The trick to having
money is having some'.... but more importantly, I APPLIED what
he wrote about ...and it works.
Now I create my own income ...and I can tell all the social welfare
people and landlords to literally ...F*** O**.
At the end of the day, it is the only true freedom.
What icke says is true: Reaity is what we make it. it is OUR DEEPEST FEELINGS manifested as reality to let us know AT THAT PARTICULAR
MOMENT what we are REALLY thinking and feeling.
It doesn't mean we are struck with that reality - it means we have
the potential to change if we can go DEEP WITHIN OURSELVES
and discover what we really believe and feel.
And this is REAL work. In fact, it is 90% of the work we need to
do to change reality.
Good luck!

I just got rid of my mortgage, what a dead black carcus of wieght that was. Beautiful house etc, but what a hassel. In this country when you own a house you gotta pay rates bout 4k a year, you gotta pay for water bout 2hundy a month, then you have on top of that to pay regional rates bout 2k a year. I'm self employed and its feast or famon in my buisness at the best of times. The Illuminati secret group in our country are called 'The Brethren' and man have they dicked us for every last cent. They evoke emotions in me that I don't like. So I got rid of their illusion of security. The only thing I gotta try to do now is not pay my tax which i'm 2 years late for. But I still have this blip vert going on in my head that say's, "gotta do my tax, fark, gotta do my tax". Guy's.......do I gotta do my tax?????????

Nice (short) life Cheeb, I'm 99.99% envy.
For dole bludgers in Australia, go to your doctor and tell him/her you are depressed, you need medication and while your at it Doc, fill in a centrelink form (maxium 3months) that says I'm unfit for work, BUT only if your genuine.:D
Also for dole bludgers in Oz, Centrelink have a new 'fortnightly' lodgement form. It's actually called a 'partition Diary' which you have to enter 10 jobs fornightly for 3months.
When the the book is full, they give you another. Now, when my book was full I told them I miss-placed it (really, I did :D). So they gave me another and every fornight I would refer to my lost book and fill in ten jobs to save me the effort of looking through the yellow pages. (all fiction ofcourse)

The problem in Australia now and this is one of the reasons why the govt dish out hand outs, and that is the new biometric id card, first to be issued to those who receive some form of govt benefits(90% of the population). If you don't want to take the id card, fine it's not compulsory you just lose your benefits.
Best thing is to rather screw the system, withdraw from it completely.
It's another trap.

Yep, they've got people relying on the sysem to live, the system then dishes out id cards followed by chips under the skin. We get what we ask for, if people ask to be looked after then they will be... by machines in a police state. It aint called centerlink for nothing.

Hologram I'm intrigued, how do you survive without income?
Aha, I didn't say I don't have an income I have just never filed a tax return or been on an electoral roll. I alternate between working and the dole and bartering.
I've probably never earnt enough for the tax man to worry about me. A couple of years ago I thought "shit I better do somethiig about this tax thing or it will come back and bite me on the bum one day." I rang an accountant and he spoke to someone in the tax dept. who said if I owned up instead of them catching me then I would be alright... but I never owned up! :D
I KNOW I am infinite love (doesn't always come out that way but I know I am :D) so I figured it's time to live it. The system only works because people play by it's rules.

Basically the governement then encouraged all these house buyers that teh economy was brillaint so they all remortgaged and got into more debt - the plan being that they will now crash and every1 will have even less freedom.Stuck in there house, not being able to move and massive mortage repayments. The government convinced us that having your own home was a luxury, so every1 got caught by there trap! I still cant see why people feel the need to "own" their house,i dont think it never really is.Makes 'em feel better,i suppose.
There is enough info out there to make people more informed.

its the ego in people (in me aswell) though with owning things. you pay for it and live in it and the only diffrence with your house is that its "yours", and because you now see it as yours you can say "i own a house me, im better than them who dont" and thats what some people get from owning out, it adds to there sense of self. so if you want to social engeneer people, a good way to do it is to attatch it with the self. like look at adverts and shit and its like "let out your wild side, buy this car" ect and alot of its build to really say " if you buy this youll be better than others, others havent even got a wild side" lol. so people buy it because it adds to there image of who they are. and then theey can say there image to people "iv got a ford sv20, or a 50 inch tele" wwwwooooo... aahhhh.
same with work too, people who call others scroungers are saying that sometimes because if they didnt have there job they woukd see themselves as nobody, with out a purpose, so if you have a purpose apart of that is createing enemys for that purpose.
i like that one about saying to people who say your a scrounger, that about the weapons and stuff, i never thought about it before till i heard someone else say it, its a good one. still defending a mental position though but its sometimes hard not too.
i was talking to someone before on a forum they were saying your a scrounger ect (i bet they wouldnt say it to your face) and i was trying to say so im a bad person if i dont work but what about if i help people in day to day life ect, and i think they were still saying your a scrounger lol. they dont even no me. "dont work,.... evil" lol.

Next time someone says "their taxes".......reply by saying your taxes are going to pay for weapons to kill innocent people in Iraq,Afghanistan and the rest.
It soon shuts 'em up.
Most Income Taxes go indirectly to the bankers through paying off the interest on a national debt. Corporate Taxes pay for wars and military.
Worth knowing if some smartass comes back at you ;)

....Cos ive been unemployed for 6 months,i had to go on this course, the government is trying a new tactic.....a softly, softly psychological approach, where you are told about the positive/negative aspects about being out of work.
But its very materalistic, youre encouraged to think what you want,a car,a house...etc.
To me it all smacked of greed, wanting to get on the property ladder....why?....whats so great about "owning" a pile of bricks.
In germany at least 80% of property is rented.......they arent falling for it.
In my original post above i meant to say......the "positive" aspects of being in work and the "negative" aspects of not working.
I couldnt see the jobcentre condoning the positive aspects of being out of work, could you?...and there's loads of positives.:D

There's actually a major misconception that 'they' have when they call the unemployed scroungers and how 'their' taxes are paying for us to sit on our arses ..
They system is rigged so that all money goes to the government in tax. ALL money .. So you get paid £100 wages .. £25 (ish .. keeping the numbers simple) goes straight away in income tax .. £25 goes on your rent / mortage (again, simple) .. but of that £25 on your rent / mortage - what happens to it? £10 goes to pay other wages (which are taxed), the other £5 goes on expenses (which gets taxed) and the £10 thats left as 'profit' will probably get taxed at 40% corporation tax .. (and on and on and on)
But .. you have £50 left out of your £100 .. you put £10 petrol in the car (£8 goes on the fuel duty tax) .. you pay your council TAX .. you buy your groceries (and the money you spend it taxed out like it is with your rent) .. again, on and on and on
Ultimately, every penny in circulation ends up in the Treasury as tax in one form or the other - even the money you save gets taxed and when you die and pass it on to your kids, they get hit with inheritence tax .. yadda yadda yadda
So when people say - "my taxes are paying for you" - what the don't realise is a) No, I'm paying plenty of tax myself and paying for my own benefits and b) the government gets it all back eventually anyways ..
Love it or hate it - the guy who invented the Taxation system must have been a genius .. its the perfect scam .. you buy something (ie. the control of people) without it costing you a penny as you get it all back .. amazing

Sadly tho, people don't 'own' their house - all land and property (in the UK at least) is owned by the Crown and the banks (one and the same?) .. Us home'owners' just take out long term leases which they con us into thinking means we 'own' the property. Hell, most people store their deed in the banks .. whats the old saying? Posession is 9/10s of the law ..
But the info on this is all around people .. two quick examples .. compulsorary purchase orders - they can force you to sell (and ultimately give up) "your" property and land .. no one bothers to question it - but they can do it because they own it. Secondly, search warrants used by the police - i've always looked at them as the police asking the real owner (through the Crowns representative - the court / judge) permission to enter its property.
But like a lot of things - people are told a pile of rubbish and then just follow it without question.
Myself, I've never been one for posessions and things .. as someone on here said - Freedom is the greatest thing to own .. big houses, flash cars and new designer gear meana nothing to me if I'm not free ..

Wow, it was really important for me to read this.
I lost my job yesterday (IT Sales Job- horrible work but paid well) and I'm wondering where I go from here. Part of the reason I was fired was because I wasn't in tune with the requirements of the job at all; in fact I hated it, and it showed through my work. Now I'm stuck having to look for similar jobs because that's the only experience I have (I worked in financial sales before- ergh).
How do you guys manage to live off the land? Do you apply for JSA and just stay on it? How much is it per week? I'm in the UK.

You ahven't claimed yet? Don't wait about or you'll lose you £8 a day lol... Just go to the jobcentre and tell them you were laid-off (if you say you were fired they can be arsey about paying out). You will have to fill out 1000000000000000000000000000000000 pages of forms, then a week, possibly 2 weeks later you will have an appointment/ sign-on date... just go down with your sign-on book and 3 days later your benefits are in your account. It usually works out at about £60 a week. On the application forms they ask for the minimum you're willing to work for, put a high amount, then they cannot force you to apply for shit jobs. You'll be required to show proof that you have applied for 2 jobs every week, but if you have, for example a criminal record, one can tell potential employers of it to put them off employing you lol. You'd do well to say you have a disability that caused your performance to be shit at work too, eg your hearing is really poor, and ask to have a disability advisor, not a normal advisor. Disability advisors can find courses to go on that able people don't have access too, and are much less strict in pushing people into the 'able-bodied' slave/workforce.
But... if you want a job, look for one asap, the longer you're unemployed the harder it is to get employment.
You can also work below/ upto 15 hours a week (not 16) and still claim jobseekers... or do fiddle work, there is plenty of ways to earn money and claim benefits... no point in limiting oneself lol

malinacortin #1 is a gene responsible for red hair etc. not sure if its a gene dificient or whatever
aparently i have a enzyme deficiency in my skin pigments so i have like soft elastic female skin lol.
spose the ormus helps for that =D
its the only 1 gene difference that gives red hair.
quiet unique really if u have it.
also looked upon as FIREY angus ppl. =D
not me though im a passive laid back hippy
with idle hands and attention deficit disorder, im intregued by occult and technology and even though im supposed to hate tech. i have all these gadgets and things but there all pulled apart and broken and repaired and hacked and exploited. i have a natural ability to pilot anything new to me. i can figure it out in seconds and break it. then put it back together with a few mods and it can now do a few more things it couldnt do before and customised to my liking with a few broken features.. thats what im all about hehe.
i have a natural tendency to see straight thru something instantly, its really easy and i cant explain how ido it. but yeah. something 2 do with intent i spose. im very manipulative even though i dont like the idea of it. i spose if ppl want a horror show ill give em one =D

Dont you dare go asking above the minimum wage!;)....youll get shot down in flames.
That form they give you is a waste of time, they might as well fill it in for you.
If your answers arent the ones they want, theyll change it.
Ask for £10 per hour and watch their reaction.

Minimum wage = minimum effort mate, and I'll say that to any employer!
They accept any amount... a mate was a social worker before quitting, and put £20 an hour down, she could've earned £30 an hour though... but they don't check peoples qualifications anyway... a lot depends on the advisor, I've found that older/ middle aged white people are the worst for being self-righteous and making my right to free money (lol) a hassle.
