WTF are you on about? money is only given meaning by people and therefore the root of evil is in the minds of people, not some inanimate objects such as money.

Root of all evil.MONEY
The actual quote comes from Timoth 6:10
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Money itself is an inanimate object with no leanings either way, it is peoples' lust for it that gives it any power at all.

I understand that, but true teachings do not cost money,it is BS,and i am not happy at sites that do this it pisses me off quite frankly:)
That happened in a Buddhist centre once,i was asked for money inside the temple, and quite frankly i have not been back since.:)
"All we need to do to receive direct help is to ask. Didn't Christ also say: ”Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. Everyone that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth”? And yet asking is what we find hardest. Many of us, I feel, hardly know how to ask. Sometimes it is because we are arrogant, sometimes because we are unwilling to seek help, sometimes because we are lazy, sometimes our minds are so busy with questions, distractions, and confusion that the simplicity of asking does not occur to us. The turning point in any healing of alcoholics or drug addicts is when they admit their illness and ask for aid. In one way or another, we are all addicts of samsara; the moment when help can come for us is when we admit our addiction and simply ask."
last bit copy and pasted so you are aware, but it is true.

But I am not angry  Your post was just weird and seemingly pointless.
I notice that you keep mentioning anger so perhaps you are the one having trouble dealing with it and then you project this onto other people. maybe its all that martial arts stuff you do getting you pumped for action.
So when the Buddhists take all this money off people then they dont need it? their monastaries dont run on fresh air you know.
So it could be argued that David Icke is a con artist by what you say. He needs money to print books and for the hire of places to talk. he could pass his information in less expensive ways but he doesnt. The fact is that he needs money to spread his teachings. Is he a con artist?

I was questioning your post.
You claimed that you do not need money to spread teachings unless you are a con artist. Icke uses money to spread his teachings in books. You basically said he was a con artist by your own post.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't disagreeing with the topic just correcting the quote, because if you look again it is more pertinent to what you're saying.
In fact it used to be one of my major gripes with ole Joe Striling, his first website was begging for money on every page to help him in his battle against the "corrupt Masons"

Getting back to nature and rebuilding nature instead of destroying it and machines are not gonna do it,maybe clean green public transport, less work and working on ther land, planting FOOD ETC ETC.
There are to many noisy smelly machines as it is,whats the rush where are we going apart from around in a circle.Quality of life not quantity.
I do not disagree with all the 2nd half, some good points but he is forgetting about Nurturing the planet. Its the planet which is our home.

Agreed,it is the love of money what is the problem.in short GREED.
for sure i do not want a cashless society, and i am just wary of sites mike that ask for money, especially if they are a teaching of any kind, buying rubbish no problem its their choice.;)and waste.
but if i put links on and they are asking for money, the vulnerable may get sucked in,just a warning especially if I put the link up.:)
and joe stirling i really do not know him.

2nd half of 'Addendum is not what I am pushing. It was, however, a breath of fresh air when I watched it, yesterday and I will be promoting it to others. I had not heard of the Venus Project before and it is different to what I advocate in my article. Don't make erroneous assumptions over that.
Seems to me that we are in agreement. The machines I mention in my article are not loud, smelly, or polluting, although I did not specify that. Read my article and you will see that I support a return to nature supplemented by amazing technology; at least it is an area which needs more investigation.
Overall my article supports ascetical living, not overindulgence. I think worldwide subterraneous maglev vehicles is one very possible answer to transport. I did not mention this in the article due to word count restrictions (I could not make an article that is 50-pages long).
I am new to the Venus Project so I do not know all of what they advocate. But I do disagree with their cities, big machines, aircraft, surface trains, etc. I also vehemently oppose their ideas for fish farming.
