German National TV Exposes Eli Lilly and Others
A large 45 minute report on German National television exposes Prozac and Zoloft. These antidepressants were shown in the original studies by the pharmaceutical companies to increase the probability of a suicide FIVEfold. The clinical data on Prozac by Eli Lilly was all but terrible -- but the book by John Virapen, former manager at Eli Lilly Sweden shows how such a terrible failure of a medication can still be pushed through the administration expert panels, for example by hiding critical information and pressurizing professionals who were against the approval of the drugs, and bribing officials.
