Welcome to the united fascist states of america. The land of the free that never was. It just gets "better" by the day.....
People should have the right to wear or not wear whatever they bloody well please. A basic human right.

I wonder if it's legal to wander around that town in a pair of boxer shorts.

I for one think this 'fashion' trend is ridiculous. Is anyone really happy wearing trousers like that? It's not the only thing I'd like to comment on regarding clothing. But is someone really wants to wear it, eventhough I find it to be discriminating (burka in Islam for example), ridiculous, or whatever, I've no problem with it.

It's origins come from US prisons where prisoners are not allowed belts so their trousers sag.

Closet racism and class predudice... same shit happens with hiphop nightclubs banning sports footwear, knowing only queers and middleclass pricks wear shoes for hiphop nights.

Are you sure? I thought it came from the 60's. Young black men dressing up for a dance, wearing their fathers pants, which were (2 sizes tooo big). I could be wrong.
Anyway, from what I'm told, the youth of today wear their pants half way down their ass to rebel the law/s.

I wonder if the yobbos that want to pass this law will also extend it to all the tradesmen that wear their work shorts with 75% of their butt crack showing??
Or is that 'different' because they are bible fearing/good hard workers and not rebellious youth??

You are correct in that this trend started in prisons, however I believe you are mistaken in the assumption that it had to do with their lack of belts. It was a matter of being able to have butt-sex without getting caught, from what I understand.

morons, baggy pants started for 2 reasons...
1) as an anti-thesis of white/european style of dress (men in tights),you know..high waters, jeans so tight that they rip when you fart..general gay looking clothing styles..
2) it is much easier to conceal spray-paint cans and guns/other weapons when your pants are baggy

danny, spot on about hip hop nights, it should be tims, air force ones etc, can't wearing those pointy shoes, unless its with a suit/shirt etc.
baggy trousers, are guess what, more comfortable, shock horror, scientists have discovered, just like tracksuits etc, the more material used, giving a more generous/accomodating fit, will manifest itself as a pair of trousers, which gives the user/wearer more freedom of movement. its took them a million pound budget, focus groups, to work this one out. no wonder the elites laugh, we are such uppity know nothings, lol
what next trinny ans susannah becoming government enforcers, fashion police, no socks with sandals, no clashing colours, its all shallow/insecure bullshit. book, cover, though shall not judge. ali g, with his baggy clothes, urban slang, took the piss out the so called intelligent people, they thought he was crazy, a joke, when in reality, he was expoliting their arrogance/ignorance. underneath the bling bling, was an oxbridge graduate, lol
ask yourself, how many scientists, philosophers etc are fashion icons? they have dried up prunes like ann wintour (vogue), giving the moronic masses clothes tips, whats next, people being hired to cut up your food into little pieces, so you can eat, lol be yourself, wear what you want, how you want it. also another avenue of scientific research, should be the effects of baggy clothes on brain functions, how does the shape, weight, of clothes affect the neurological process, mmmmmmm.
isn't life absurd, lol
