BNP members working for immigration service
An investigation has been launched after two immigration staff were found to be members of the British National Party (BNP).

The two staff worked in an immigration removal centre until a list of BNP members appeared on the internet in November, according to a UK Border Agency spokesman.
After the list was made public, one resigned and another was suspended, he said.

I find this incredibly worrying.
It seems that we no longer have the freedom to choose which political party we subscribe to.
Fair enough, if the staff members had been shown to have their alleged racist views distort their duties; then of course they can be "suspended" or disciplined.
But this seems to infer that if you are a member of BNP (insert political group here), then it automatically taints you and adjudges you as "guilty" of a crime.
Nowhere in this report, or the statements made by the spokesman, is there ANY reference to misconduct or dereliction of duties. The only "crime", as reported, is that they were members of a political party that polarises views.
Very, very dangerous.
Looks like a witch hunt to me.

It is a witch hunt.
If / when the EU takes over only pro EU parties will be allowed. There will be no tolerance of disenting views against the EU. Hipocrites the lot of them. They preach tolerance for imigrants/gays etc but will give none in return.
BNP and UKiP will be banned. Arrsst and imprisonment for critisising the EU.
They only funny thing will be the likely arrest and internment of our traitorist MPs and MSPs:) after the EUSSR comes into effect.

Surely this suspension contravenes the Freedom of assembly and of association (article 12 of the EU Charter for Human Rights Act). The only way this is going to change is if one of these guys takes on the government using its masters own rules and regulations.
