Here are the main things that worry me about this story:

She' not just any astronaut, she's a test pilot which means that she's even more disciplined than most. She has been through decades of disciplined living and training. She wanted to be an astronaut from age 5.

Her family describe this behavior as "out of character" for her and they are all very shocked at what happened.

A close family friend said "she's a mother before she's an astronaut", although others describe her as very career driven.

She's been married for 19 years and has young twin daughters in addition to a pre-teen, recently separated from her husband. I wonder what triggered that?

So, she's kept it all together for all this time. A marriage, a demanding career, children and now....after having had her first trip into space last July, she puts a diaper on, drives almost 1000 miles with a BB gun, a knife and pepper spray to confront a woman that she sees as a threat to some relationship she's supposed to be having.

She describes this relationship with Oefelein as "more than a working relationship but less than a romantic relationship".

Ok, so she's arrested for pepper spraying this other woman, and as she's posting bail for attempted kidnapping and assault, they STOP her and tell her that she's under arrest for attempted murder!

Who decided that it was attempted murder? Pepper spray is not attempted murder. A BB gun won't kill you, and she didn't have the knife on her when she assaulted this lady. So, I'm suspicious about who decided this was attempted murder, and what their MOTIVES are. Which higher-up government official pulled strings?

My thinking? Last year she went up to space for the first time. What if something happened there? Something extraterrestrial. What if she wasn't going to keep her mouth shut? What if during all her training as an astronaut, she also became mind-controlled and a simple trigger word would set her off on a 1000 mile journey in a diaper to confront a woman about a man that she had a "less than romantic" relationship with?

What if all this "she drove for 1000 miles with a diaper on....she's snapped, lost her mind.....she's going to have psyche analysis...." is just a way to make her sound crazy just incase she ever reveals to the world what really happens in outer space?

Of course this little episode would absolutely affect her credibility in the minds and eyes of the herd. I can just hear them..."she's crazy...now she's talking about aliens...geez...first diapers...what next?"

I'm serious, it's all just too weird, especially for someone as highly skilled and trained as she is. Trained not to lose their minds in the event of dangerous life-threatening circumstances.

This is a set up. No doubt in my mind about it.

Yes, this looks like a total hatchet job.

She must have seen something major for them to go to all this trouble to assassinate her character the way they did.

And, the press seemed to "pronounce her guilty" faster than usual. No one seemed to ask any questions -- they just decided she was a nut job and was guilty and told the story from that angle. Now NASA is saying they're going to "review their screening process," etc. as if it's a foregone conclusion that she is crazy and dangerous, etc. All that's left now is the sentencing apparently.

They're talking about life in prison now too -- for "attempted murder" with pepper spray?!?!?

We'll probably never know the whole truth.

But then maybe her only chance is to start talking now.

So we have three major stories all centered in Florida.
Lisa Nowak, the Superbowl ( lots of symbolism here) and Anna Nicole smith.
On the rumormill website I read an interesring story about the connection between Lisa Nowak and Anna Nicole. About a potential child "born in space"
the name Ship-man ( lisa's rival), Anna nicole dying in Hollywood ( stars)...
and the whole Superbowl management team staying in the same hotel as Anna Nicole Smith.
Three world news events, all strangely connected....

Now they say they can't find the cause of Anna's death. They did say that they found a ton of prescription meds in her room but none of those were found in her system. So....what's going on here? ...Can't find the cause of her death...yuh, ok...

All the while, one sensational event after the other, and while we're all focused on that, I have to wonder what's really going on that we don't know about...

I found it really strange how Lisa Nowak was made headline news, especially in the UK seemed a bit random and not really "important worldly news" really confused me! :confused: So there must be something more to it!

Yes, it was quite a big deal and for the first couple of days after it happened (until the death of Anna Nicole) you couldn't escape it. Every channel that I flipped to were saying almost identically the same thing about her diaper and that she had seemingly lost her mind, etc.

Amazing how this story disappeared into the shadows just a day or two after it happened because the Anna Nicole saga has taken up weeks and weeks of space on the news. I still don't understand what the big deal was with Anna Nicole? It's all just a way to keep people distracted.

Court papers: Arrested astronaut had bondage photos

ORLANDO, Florida (AP) -- A police search of former astronaut Lisa Nowak's car turned up bondage photos on a computer disk, British currency and pills, according to documents released Tuesday by prosecutors.

A judge last week agreed to unseal some of the documents in Nowak's case. She is accused of trying to kidnap a rival for a space shuttle pilot's affections.

Nearly all of the 16 images found on the disk depicted bondage scenes, according to a forensic examination report by the Orlando Police Department. Some of the images showed a nude woman and others were drawings.

The documents did not make clear whether Nowak was the woman in the photos or who the disks belonged to.

Also found were nearly $600, £41 and four brown paper towels with 69 orange pills. State law enforcement officials are testing the pills to determine what they are, authorities said.

Investigators also examined two USB drives found in the car that contained family pictures, digital movies and NASA-related materials.

They concluded that information found on the disk or the two USB drives did not have any direct evidence related to the attempted kidnapping, the report said.

Nowak's attorney, Donald Lykkebak, declined to comment Tuesday on the newly released documents.

Nowak was arrested in February after police say she drove from Houston, Texas, to Florida to confront Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman. Authorities have said Nowak had an affair with Shipman's boyfriend, Bill Oefelein. She pepper-sprayed Shipman through a partially lowered car window, an arrest affidavit said.

Police said they found a BB gun, new steel mallet, a knife and rubber tubing in Nowak's possession. Nowak, 43, pleaded not guilty to attempted kidnapping, burglary with assault and battery. NASA released Nowak from the astronaut corps a month after her arrest. Her trial has been moved to September.

tbh, i didn't really give this story much thought, it didn't really hit the news here in south africa, but i caught bits and pieces on CNN and the net, but after reading all this, my interest is seriously piqued!
aren't there lots of stories of astronauts going a bit mad after being in space? i must be honest though, it does seem like one hell of a smear campaign.

Gunman opened fire at NASA building, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (CNN) -- NASA evacuated a building at the Johnson Space Center in Houston after a person with a gun was seen and a shot was fired, a NASA spokesman said Friday.

Another NASA spokesperson, James Hartfield, told a CNN affiliate there were gunshots heard in the building, which holds a laboratory. The call for help came in at 1:40 p.m. (2:40 p.m. ET) to which Houston police responded.

Hartfield said all of the employees that would have been in that building have been evacuated.

There is "extremely tight security" at Johnson Space Center, said Hartfield.

I wonder if this is relevant:
April 22 - Lyrids Meteor Shower. The Lyrids are an average shower, usually producing about 20 meteors per hour at their peak. The shower will peak this year on April 22, although some meteors will be visible from April 16 - 25. The evening crescent moon will set early allowing for an excellent viewing experience. Look for meteors radiating from the constellation of Lyra after midnight.

I wonder if this has anything to do with this week.

Some interesting facts about Rice University, the donors of the land on which NASA built the Johnson Space center where Bill Phillips, a Jacobs Sverdrup contractor employee, shot dead David Beverly and then killed himself on April 20th, 2007. I'm doing some research on these individuals, and I'll post what I find later on.

Rice University was named after William Marsh Rice, who was murdered. His valet was convicted of the crime, but it was later overturned and he was given a full pardon. Of course the motive was money, but it seems that the Rice Institute got the money after all, even though apparently the will had been changed at the last minute.

In 1962 much of the University's land was donated to NASA which led to Kennedy giving his speech - "But why, some say, the moon?...We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard..." This speech was given at Rice Stadium.

Look, I know that the owl can represent wisdom, but it is also a symbol used by the Bohemian Grove, which is entirely sinister in nature. So, there is more than one way to view this information.

The seal was designed by Pierre de Chaignon la Rose of Burgundy, France. Incredibly, the same Burgundy region that du Pont came from. The same du Ponts that captured and burned Joan of Arc alive. On this Rice website (http://www.dsp.rice.edu/~lavu/rice/), it says that the seal was designed in 1712. And on this Rice website (http://www.professor.rice.edu/professor/Traditions.asp?SnID=1701931615), it says that it was designed in 1912. I think the design was from 1712 but only accepted as the Rice mascot in 1912. The Pierre de Chaignon la Rose of 1912 was a descendant of the 1712 person by the same name, two hundred years later.

They say that the design was taken from a small silver coin called a Tetradrachm that dates from Greece in the middle of the fifth century BC. On the one side is the Goddess Athena, and the other side is her pet owl perched on an overturned amphora.

This statue of Athena in Athens Greece, is said to be made from Gold and ivory. Her helmet (or crown, I suppose) has a Sphinx in the middle of it with Griffins on either side of it. Note the snake beside her shield. You have to wonder about the Sphinx and the whole Egypt connection on her helmet. She is sometimes depicted with an owl in her hand, but in this photo that does not look like an owl to me. I haven't found what it is, and won't spend too much time on it now, but if anyone knows, please share the info. ;)

Athena was known as the goddess of war, and her male counterpart was Ares, god of war. It's very interesting to note that the Johnson Space Center is going to be command central for the upcoming Project Constellation in which the Ares Space vehicles will be used.

I want to skip back to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center for a moment. It was renamed to it's current name after being known as the Manned Spacecraft Center in 1973, the year Johnson died.

But who was Johnson? Well, he was the president by default when JFK was assassinated and he, vice president to JFK, became president. Nice little trick, eh? JFK was not an Israeli apologist and took the USA into a neutral position concerning Israel. This, along with his war against organized crime, probably got him killed. He was a Zionist and reversed the USA's neutral policy to one of seemingly unlimited financial and political support, which continues to this day.

Johnson also seemed to enjoy the mass sacrifice of Americans and Vietnamese (and others) in the Vietnam war because he reversed JFK's withdraw policy, and of course the war escalated. So, as you can see, NASA chose a man of substandard worth after whom to name this space center. But, judging from its sinister history and obsession with occult activities in a negative way, it hardly surprises me!

Back to Rice...

Rice University has several traditions, a few I found interesting and wanted to share with you, but first a look at some of the buildings on campus...

The one that stands out the most is Valhalla, which is the graduate student pub on campus. Valhalla in Norse mythology (there's that awful 'mythology' word again) was a sort of hall of fame for warriors slain 'gloriously' in battle. What a contradiction in terms! Sounds so sacrificial.

Then we have Baker College which was named after James A. Baker, Rice's lawyer who supposedly uncovered the murder plot of William Rice. He was also the grandfather of James A. Baker III, Secretary of State to President George H.W. Bush.

More and more I'm beginning to wonder about how this university REALLY was funded, since Rice's convicted murderer was released and granted a pardon. ended up threatening to kill me and punched a large hole through my front

He was apparently an alcoholic and exhibited multiple personalities. The day after breaking
my door he denied any knowledge of how it happened and he seemed to be telling the
truth! He stayed at home and seemed to live in front of his TV, drinking himself unconscious

some where. He said he went "on the road" for his job but I don't know what he did for JPL.
Most of the time he just stayed in his apartment, he never seemed to go to work except
for his road trips.

Anyway, the guy was obviously a nut job and probably dangerous so I quickly found another
place to live -- a much nicer place too. :)

Some interesting facts about Rice University, the donors of the land on which NASA built the Johnson Space center where Bill Phillips, a Jacobs Sverdrup contractor employee, shot dead David Beverly and then killed himself on April 20th, 2007. I'm doing some research on these individuals, and I'll post what I find later on.

Rice University was named after William Marsh Rice, who was murdered. His valet was convicted of the crime, but it was later overturned and he was given a full pardon. Of course the motive was money, but it seems that the Rice Institute got the money after all, even though apparently the will had been changed at the last minute.

In 1962 much of the University's land was donated to NASA which led to Kennedy giving his speech - "But why, some say, the moon?...We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard..." This speech was given at Rice Stadium.

Look, I know that the owl can represent wisdom, but it is also a symbol used by the Bohemian Grove, which is entirely sinister in nature. So, there is more than one way to view this information.

The seal was designed by Pierre de Chaignon la Rose of Burgundy, France. Incredibly, the same Burgundy region that du Pont came from. The same du Ponts that captured and burned Joan of Arc alive. I think the design was from 1712 but only accepted as the Rice mascot in 1912. The Pierre de Chaignon la Rose of 1912 was a descendant of the 1712 person by the same name, two hundred years later.

They say that the design was taken from a small silver coin called a Tetradrachm that dates from Greece in the middle of the fifth century BC. On the one side is the Goddess Athena, and the other side is her pet owl perched on an overturned amphora.

This statue of Athena in Athens Greece, is said to be made from Gold and ivory. Her helmet (or crown, I suppose) has a Sphinx in the middle of it with Griffins on either side of it. Note the snake beside her shield. You have to wonder about the Sphinx and the whole Egypt connection on her helmet. She is sometimes depicted with an owl in her hand, but in this photo that does not look like an owl to me. I haven't found what it is, and won't spend too much time on it now, but if anyone knows, please share the info. ;)

Athena was known as the goddess of war, and her male counterpart was Ares, god of war. It's very interesting to note that the Johnson Space Center is going to be command central for the upcoming Project Constellation in which the Ares Space vehicles will be used.

Ok, so she's arrested for pepper spraying this other woman, and as she's posting bail for attempted kidnapping and assault, they STOP her and tell her that she's under arrest for attempted murder!

Who decided that it was attempted murder? Pepper spray is not attempted murder. A BB gun won't kill you, and she didn't have the knife on her when she assaulted this lady. So, I'm suspicious about who decided this was attempted murder, and what their MOTIVES are. Which higher-up government official pulled strings?

Having spent two years in the police, I would say that it could have been a fuck-up with the police officers for not having charged her with this as well as the original charges. As you cannot try someone for the same offense twice, usually all the bases are covered by charging people with multiple counts for the same offense.

funny how i read that we are all feeling drained as im thinking that yeah, its really wierd how all the sudden im learning all this, at the same time that i'm noticing a little bit of telepathy between(mostly) my brother and i, and we both are constantly now trying to learn as much about the nwo as we can.

I've been convinced from the beginning of this Lisa Nowak story that she is a victim of character assassination by the press. I've always thought that she saw something during her trip to space, and that the entire "diaper" thing (which her attorney swears is a malicious lie) was a clear cut attempt to discredit her, should she ever talk about Alien life/craft/etc.

I've also always felt that there was some degree of mind-control going on.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the `Space Preservation Act of 2001'.

SEC. 2. REAFFIRMATION OF POLICY ON THE PRESERVATION OF PEACE IN SPACE.

Congress reaffirms the policy expressed in section 102(a) of the National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 (42 U.S.C. 2451(a)), stating that it `is the policy of the United States that activities in space should be devoted to peaceful purposes for the benefit of all mankind.'.

SEC. 3. PERMANENT BAN ON BASING OF WEAPONS IN SPACE.

The President shall--

(1) implement a permanent ban on space-based weapons of the United States and remove from space any existing space-based weapons of the United States; and

(2) immediately order the permanent termination of research and development, testing, manufacturing, production, and deployment of all space-based weapons of the United States and their components.

SEC. 4. WORLD AGREEMENT BANNING SPACE-BASED WEAPONS.

The President shall direct the United States representatives to the United Nations and other international organizations to immediately work toward negotiating, adopting, and implementing a world agreement banning space-based weapons.

SEC. 5. REPORT.

The President shall submit to Congress not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and every 90 days thereafter, a report on--

(1) the implementation of the permanent ban on space-based weapons required by section 3; and

(2) progress toward negotiating, adopting, and implementing the agreement described in section 4.

SEC. 6. NON SPACE-BASED WEAPONS ACTIVITIES.

Nothing in this Act may be construed as prohibiting the use of funds for--

(1) space exploration;

(2) space research and development;

(3) testing, manufacturing, or production that is not related to space-based weapons or systems; or

(4) civil, commercial, or defense activities (including communications, navigation, surveillance, reconnaissance, early warning, or remote sensing) that are not related to space-based weapons or systems.

SEC. 7. DEFINITIONS.

In this Act:

(1) The term 'space' means all space extending upward from an altitude greater than 60 kilometers above the surface of the earth and any celestial body in such space.

(2)(A) The terms 'weapon' and 'weapons system' mean a device capable of any of the following:

(i) Damaging or destroying an object (whether in outer space, in the atmosphere, or on earth) by--

(I) firing one or more projectiles to collide with that object;

(II) detonating one or more explosive devices in close proximity to that object;

(III) directing a source of energy (including molecular or atomic energy, subatomic particle beams, electromagnetic radiation, plasma, or extremely low frequency (ELF) or ultra low frequency (ULF) energy radiation) against that object; or

(IV) any other unacknowledged or as yet undeveloped means.

(ii) Inflicting death or injury on, or damaging or destroying, a person (or the biological life, bodily health, mental health, or physical and economic well-being of a person)--

(I) through the use of any of the means described in clause (i) or subparagraph (B);

(II) through the use of land-based, sea-based, or space-based systems using radiation, electromagnetic, psychotronic, sonic, laser, or other energies directed at individual persons or targeted populations for the purpose of information war, mood management, or mind control of such persons or populations; or

(III) by expelling chemical or biological agents in the vicinity of a person.

(B) Such terms include exotic weapons systems such as--

(i) electronic, psychotronic, or information weapons;

(ii) chemtrails;

(iii) high altitude ultra low frequency weapons systems;

(iv) plasma, electromagnetic, sonic, or ultrasonic weapons;

(v) laser weapons systems;

(vi) strategic, theater, tactical, or extraterrestrial weapons; and

(vii) chemical, biological, environmental, climate, or tectonic weapons.

(C) The term 'exotic weapons systems' includes weapons designed to damage space or natural ecosystems (such as the ionosphere and upper atmosphere) or climate, weather, and tectonic systems with the purpose of inducing damage or destruction upon a target population or region on earth or in space.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Florida (CNN) -- NASA said Friday it was going to take immediate action after a report raised safety questions about astronauts drinking before flying missions.

The space agency said astronauts flew drunk at on at least two occasions, despite warnings from doctors and colleagues that they posed a flight risk.

The report was prompted by the arrest of former astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was accused in February of the attempted kidnapping of a romantic rival.



Weird thing is that they don't go on to say what in the report triggered this investigation. Was Lisa Nowak drunk when she flew into space? Why wasn't this an issue before now?

about the space shuttle Endeavor:

March 12, 2008 0751 PDT: What Is Endeavour Doing Right Now?


Endeavour has now been in space about 32 hours. Since it
only takes 9 minutes to achieve orbit and another 30 minutes
to dock, what has Endeavour been doing with the other 31
hours?

And since she is not going to dock until tonight at 11:25 EDT
what did she do during that 45 hours from launch?

The NASA disinformation artists would have you believe that
all of this time has been spent catching up with the Inter-
national Space Station (ISS). This, of course, is disinfor-
mation to keep you, the public, from knowing the truth.

And the truth is that Endeavour, like all other Space Shuttles
since its first launch in April of 1981 has been dropping off
and picking up cargo from our secret space platforms of which
there are about 12.

These secret space platforms include weapons and manufacturing
platforms. The weapons platforms are the same as the one used
to destroy the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 killing
3000 Americans, when we attacked ourselves to create a threat
which did not exist.

The orbiting manufacturing platforms are used to manufacture
materials used in the construction of secret military aerial
craft and sea going vessels including submarines.

The specifics of the material which comes in bars, extrusions,
sheet and rolled product will be covered in another article.

During the 45 hours it will take Endeavour to service several
space stations the public will listen to NASA describe how the
astronauts are going through 'checklists' preparing to dock
with the ISS, exercising on stationary bicycles and trying to
catch gumdrops in '0' gravity.

Meanwhile, a Russian Progress rocket will have docked carrying
'food and supplies' and it will allegedly be loaded with 'trash'
and will be sent to 'burn up' on reentry.

Of course, all of this is nonsense. The Progress rocket brings
up raw materials for the manufacturing platforms and additional
astronauts required.

The Space Shuttle which was designed for allegedly 10 astronauts
probably can carry several more. Space shuttle launches and
landings have at least 5 more astronauts aboard than is told to
the public by NASA.

Other rockets launched by NASA or the Air Force or the Navy
can take additional astronauts to the orbiting platforms as
does Progress.

I estimate that there are about 1500 astronauts orbiting in the
various platforms.

Following the STS-123 docking with the ISS the crew will perform
a lot of 'busy' work, installing this and checking out that. Any
NASA photos of the ISS will exclude that many space tugs and other
space vehicles which constantly dock and undock with the ISS.

The public is made to believe that the only visitors to the ISS
are the Russian Progress 'garbage can' and the Space Shuttle and
every photo you see of the ISS is carefully choreographed to make
you believe that is up their 'alone'.

After a stay of 13 days or so the Space Shuttle will undock with
the ISS and, although it takes on 35 minutes to deorbit and land
at the Kennedy Space Center it will take more than 2 days to do
the checklists required and will also include two eight hour rest
periods. So you are told.

Of course, this is nonsense. What is really going on is that the
Russian Progress, which arrived several days before the Shuttle,
has brought up cargo which needs to be distributed to various
other space platforms. During the 13 days at ISS those materials
are packed on board the Space shuttle and then off loaded to the
other platforms during the 2 day period after undocking.

This two day period after undocking is also used to dock with and
perform maintenance on various secret satellites.

After the 2 days of secret docking the Space Shuttle will eventually
de-orbit and land at Kennedy Space Center.

Out of sight of the prying eyes of the public 10 to fifteen astronauts

Right, they painted her as crazy right off the bat. It turns out afterwards that she didn't wear a diaper (or so she said...should be a link to that info elsewhere in the thread). Also they were going to let her go on bail, and then mysteriously the charges change and she's detained.
