Here is the deal. The US created and funded Al Qeada, then when it was covenient we made them our perpetual terrorist enemy. We funded and armed Israel who in turn funded and armed Hamas and then both sides are funded and armed by us. That's only the surface of what's going on. I can't even imagine the depth that this rabbit hole goes.
