nhs paranoia

i've been frequenting the hospital over a blood clot (deep vein thromposis) now, for the last 3 days.
they've been injecting me with a drug called clexane and will do untill wednesday, which is when, the tablets called warfarin i've been taking will begin to work.
i've never really been in hospital before and, knowing what i and ye all know, the whole set up has got me rather paranoid.
I've looked up the drugs on the tinterweb n havent found much other than the 'official' bio's of these drugs..
does anyone ave any info on this an am i right t be wary?

Dr. Link was not a medical doctor, he worked in the agricultural field. His interest was increasing farm yields. With this in mind, he turned to rodent control with his new chemical. In 1945 he was able to produce the chemical called warfarin. The name came from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, the organization that funded the research. During 1951 the Korean War was being fought. A Navy recruit who evidently did not want to go to war ate about a pound of the warfarin rat poison in a suicide attempt. He was treated with vitamin K and made a full recovery. This led to the realization that warfarin could be used in humans to treat blood clots.

I have a client who is on both Clexane and Warfarin due to DVT's caused by years and years of IV substance abuse. Without the drugs, he'd have lost his leg(s).

If you have a DVT, it needs treating. The medication you are on is the current favoured treatment. Of course you can always allow your paranoia to win, not take the medication then have one the clots come free and lodge in your lungs and give your a pulmonary embolism.

Any medicine is, in some ways, a poison, many poisons, in small doses can be medicines. The toxicity of some naturally and/or manufactured products can be used in small doses to kill infection, cancers and the like. it doesn't mean they are bad, it just means that they have to be taken as recommended. When you think about it, almost anything can be bad for you if you overdo it or don't use it wisely, even water.

on East End Ave& 80t St
to Greenwich Village!

4 MILES !
and after an iced tea and rest
all the way back
4 MORE miles!
sat in jacuzzi relishing this STAR performance
and embracing a new life

that summer in bought my first bicycle!
age 36.
learned to ride and did so daily!

rode over to Central Park and began to
jog short distances first and increased
to the path around the Reservoir
Manhattans famous joging track
once then twice then three times
after two months

I didnt say I had long since given up
the surgical stocking already .

I put powdered red cayenne pepper on
everything I eat
Tumeric powder or caps daily
lots of Vit C, D, E, Omega oils, 3,6,9 and additnl. 3,
lots of A , calcium and SEPERATELY
magnesium. Garlic pickled in red wine,
green powder with cellulose base.

If I eat anything with eggs or hydrogenated oils
I get inflamation in upper thigh on that leg
SHARP pain to remind me to WATCH
what I eat

There is more to my program not necessary now.

Just dont get onto the killer drugs as I was.
