Hey

Certainly don't like the new(ish) fad in sitcoms/dramas for the bright white flash in between scenes, or to show a flashback.

Don't know if it's at all significant, but wish they wouldn't do it ...

Will look out for it. Thanks, miranda.

Can't say I've noticed it, but then I don't watch any shitcoms these days.

Maybe tape one and slow it down/pause it on the flash. Could be some subliminals in there.

They do this in movies too. If you have a DVD of The Terminator, slow it down in the scene towards the end of the movie, when Sarah is being pursued in a truck by the Terminator.(in a tunnel) You will see the white space.

True Lies does a similiar thing, but only if you are looking for it.
I was taken to see it, when it came out.

Years (many) later I rented it. I had never wanted to watch it again. I realized the scene wasn't the same. I slowed it down and there is a blank (black) screen between scenes. That was really the only scene in the movie I remember. So I was stunned it was not there. It is during the interrogation scene where they use the "voice". As they call it in the movie. Perhaps they edited after the initial screening. I hear it happens. ;)
