View Full Version : Did I Channel A Demon?

Ok so I read up somewhere on how to channel your higher self and receive messages using what I guess is an automatic writing technique, except I was typing. I did it a few times with mixed results. About my third go I received a rather disturbing message. I perhaps foolishly didn't prayer or protect myself in any way. I got this:
Dear One
give what you will for life is the essence of that which you cannot hold, fire in the eyes of men, realise that i stole the ground you walk on.
with great love
demon
The how-to I read said to start with 'dear one' and end with 'with great love' so that's where that came from, the rest is unknown. Needless to say I found it a little disturbing and I havn't tried since.

Yes, I tried that technique for writers block once. I got all sorts of things like "Why don't you just die right now you usless piece of scum?" (not the best advice to read when you already feel a bit down I must confess). I received a lot of "kdnsoid skdi kill kill kill" ;but to be honest I was conscious when I was typing it, imagining what a demon would say if he/she were present.
I prefer to send a conscious note to any demons I think I may have. For example:
Dear Fear/Anger/Greed/addiction etc (but be specific!!)
For a while now I thought you were my friend. It turns out I was decieved by you. In the name of Jesus I rebuke you and demand you leave my life.
You said I should trust you, yet with hyndsight I see that was a lie. You were only out to get me and I am letting you know of my awarness and my strength. Although no doubt you may pop up to tempt me every now and again, I see that through my higher power, you have no hold on me anymore. My intent is that I no longer communicate with you.
This is my farewell, goodbye and good riddance.
XXXXXXX
Another silly thing I used to do was pray and then sort of flick through the bible randomly and ask for a passage to "speak to me". I think, as Gary Zukav would say, authentic wisdom takes much more effort:)

I don't think that this was a demon. If anything, I think it was a message from your subconscious. Look at what it says:
give what you will for life is the essence of that which you cannot hold
This is true. Life itself is a concept that's insubstantial, composed of the ebb and flow of energy, not solid physical objects. You can put as much effort into life as you like, but until you recognize that it's not actually reality (at least, not in the way that most of the world thinks of the word 'reality'), that effort will be in vain.
fire in the eyes of men
Most people have brief moments where they get a quick glimpse of truth - they see through the perception of reality for just a moment before returning to their mind-prisons. I think this is a sort of fire in the eyes - a brief flare of awakening and true consciousness.
realise that i stole the ground you walk on.
If you see this as a message from your subconscious, this is also pretty clear - the indoctrination that we've gone through since birth through the media, schooling, and society has lead us to deceive ourselves, and trick us into thinking that reality creates our perception, rather than the reverse. Thus, our minds have "stolen the ground we walk on" by turning it from a creation of our own sublime essence into something cold and exterior, outside of ourselves rather than internal.
All in all, I don't think it's anything to be too frightened of, though I can see that scaring the heck out of somebody the first time they read it. If you keep trying this sort of thing in the future, let me know how it turns out - I'm interested to know what sort of revelations you might have.

Hey thanks for taking the time to interpret it for me, it really seems to make more sense now! I did a few others before this one and they were generally more positive, a 'something' named Lumincaena (i think) told me a light was shining in my dreams which I thought was all very nice :)
There's a few others too.

Hey there Simmo,
First off yeah, i would recommend some form of protection before hand. But then again, that may inhibit and hamper the message.
OK - So is this how it was signed off after you wrote 'with great love'? I can see how that could be disturbing for you!
The first part I read similar to thomps1d - but I would put a slant on it that it refers to the most important things in life are non-material; it is a warning not to get too bogged down in the material spects of life and get sidetracked away from reealising who you are; that is the most important journey - who you are. Secondly, 'give what you will' means that you take from life what you put into it. This means that the outcome of things is influenced by your approach and attitude. Every act of kindness no matter how small is rewarded back to you in some way. You could give nothing, then you will receive nothing; give a lot you will receive a lot. The choice is yours, and it is only YOU who judge whether to give or not is right/wrong.
fire in the eyes of men - lol!! I see this differently. Is that a photo of you as your avatar? If so my first impression was that you make a very striking physical impression on men - when they look at you there is fire in their eyes - not only lustful, but also as a reflection of your fiery hair colour! You are stunningly beautiful, and again, this could be seen as another warning about materialistic Vs spiritualistic; don't be sidetracked by matters of the flesh - men will fall over themselves for you, but is it for your inner beauty or your outer beauty? Don't necessarily shun men, just be aware how shallow men can be if they allow themselves to be led by their groins!!
realise that i stole the ground you walk on. - this is the most puzzling; it may have a personal meaning for you directly, or it may be a generalisation; you are in Aus right? Did not the 'white man' 'steal' the land you live on? I do think these are messages form your subconscious so maybe it is a latent guilt about living in Australia?? Perhaps it is even more general than that and relates to the bondage we all live in under our so called 'governments'. A bit puzzling.
As for the sign off - hmmmmm not sure about that!
Hope you find some answers. Don't forget you are the only one who knows all the answers, we can only give suggestions from another point of view - somethings will resonate with you, some things will not. Take what does and discard what does not. Nobody is right. You are the judge of you.
In general though, it sounds like you are looking for something...
BTW - interesting technique, I'd be interested in hearing more...!
Peace...

That is a pic of Hayley Williams the singer from Paramore, I put it there so I could be reminded of true beauty every time I post, I think we need it! So much negative illuminati/nwo crap everywhere. To me she is the epitome of beauty.
Thanks for your input! The idea that white man stole the land off the Aborigines here is interesting!! It certainly did happen, perhaps it's residing in my subconscious deep down inside, I am an immigrant to this great country, from the UK originally.
Here is the latest one I did about 2 weeks ago, pretty inspiring stuff.
dear one
i have with me today another gift of light and happiness which you cannot take as the final answer, though it may be helpful to you anyway. real people everyday with their lives give more to us than you think, we need this, do it for yourself, i love you.
feel it as though you would yourself in this mind, reflect another self happiness, foget the old ways. realise that you may not find what you are lookiing for, dont forget to mean something to yourself
your music is the greatest gift that you posess, do with it as you would another friend, find it within you the spirit and divine being, give in to yourself and let it flow
basic understanding of things is all that is required, the notes that you sing are the notes that you enjoy, hold it close.
do the things that you realise are right and true, find it within yourself, learn to meditate, relax, it will come, finally, giving to others is the most important act of all.
It is almost completely unedited.

I don't think you should do any 'automatic writing'. It may be all from the subconscious, maybe not. I had a friend who did it a lot , reckoned she 'channelled' pages from her best freinds recently deceased mother. Describes her 'journey into the light' followed by being met by an angel in cornfields as she passed over. they were convinced of it. I saw the pages, weird tiny writing with the word 'movement' scrawled after every sentance or ful;l stop. Thing was, by the later pages, the word 'movement' was tiny, almost a squiggle , like a rushed signiture, but it was there after EVERY sentance.
That shit freaked me out and i made her promise never to do it again.
BUT i must add that This person was VERY susceptable to delusions, into fairies and sprites a LOT, i think she also had multiple personalities also and was possibly abused sexually as a child
I have tried to 'trance out' while playing musical instruments and that scares the shit out of me, I don't know how but it seems to work.

I think that if the proper precautions are taken (which I have since started to employ for obvious reasons) there's nothing to be worried about, it's a wonderfully insightful tool that people should use more often!
I too have tried to 'trance out' whilst playing my guitar, IMO it's the moment were you actually get that inspiration and play a small part of a riff that you've never heard before, you have to somehow quiet the mind and if you do it just right the notes just flow from your fingers. All great songwriters do it this way. I would say a lot of my riffs were 'automatically' written and it's almost like I can't take credit for them because I don't know where they came from lol.
People do things 'Automatically' everyday. You yourself grachtengordel probably had a moment or two of automatic inspiration writing that post. I beleive it's something people should embrace and learn to harness, certainly not be scared of!
You shouldn't get put off by the entity or your subconscious signing off as demon. Demon comes from daemon who were supernatural entities or forces between the gods and humans, sort of like middlemen. They were neither good or bad and were considered guardians.
Only in the later christian times did the daemon become seen as malignant spirits, agents of the devil.
What technique did you use to channel your higher self?

Yeah that's what I did :o
Kguk, I used the “Dear One technique”, explained at the bottom of this page:
http://www.4truthseekers.org/articles/lesson_1_channeling_your_own_mission.php
I like the Daemon idea, it probably was daemon and I just wrote Demon instead, I don't believe it can ever be 100% accurate.
