If you have or are thinking about holding an event to present the truth to people how would you plan, structure, and deliver the event? What topics would you look at introducing, what do you think people need to know about. Would you look at the problem as well as the solutions. We are planning a series of events on the South Coast and would welcome sensible ideas, as well as any links to low cost resources. If anyone has any skills or equipment that they can offer free or for hire all the better. If you are already a group or individual who wants to become active please get in touch via PM.

I wouldn't be too broad decide what area you specialize in and make that your primary presentation.

Begin with the outcome in mind.
What do you want to achieve?
For it to be worthwhile, it needs to be more than just another 'Say "Wow!" shout "Fuck the Elite!" and sign this petition'.

I agree with that, we will be going down that road, I'm thinking in 2 parts, along the lines of 1)what the problem is and how we have arrived at this point, 2) What we can do and how we can effect change, empower people, not scare them.

The product you are selling is intellectual. So, you first have to think-'how do I find it', and the thing is that it comes through people and their ideas. It's a bit of a jungle out there and most people have been fed bullshit, and they will spread that bullshit at anything you try and arrange. They will be pro-actively lobbying you to get to do this, whereas the people you really need are the clever ones. Those tend to be stronger on argument but less pushy. The reason is that some people are clever and they know it and others are stupid and feel they need to compensate by bullshit.
So you need a way of testing them that can not be fooled by bullshit. Ask them some difficult questions on the spur of the moment, and without that brain's walking stick called the Internet to assist them. Also remember not to make it a memory test, ask them conceptual questions where a proper understanding of the issue will need more than a memory of facts.
I was toying with this idea today as I was pondering the prospect of how one could get a high-tec job without loads of paperwork bullshit, and I was devising in my head certain questions I could ask at a job interview. You know-as they always ask you the classic "have you any questions you would like to ask" I'd ask them some myself, e.g. ‘how does a semiconductor work’ or ‘why must one avoid using public variables when programming’ or maybe something like ‘what is a finite state machine’ were three I thought up. If the company had idiots working for them then they would not be able to answer and I could tell them that this is because they were less able to do the job than myself, and so I must be the right candidate! (QED)
I think that little sneaky plan might just work. Obviously the questions in your case would need to apply to the kind of subjects you want people to speak about, but it's the same principle.

Getting off topic here baron, but this strategy, in my experience will only piss off the interview panel and/or make them feel intimidated. If they don't know the answers they'll view you as arrogant instead of brilliant and you wont get the job. Would be interested in hearing how it goes, though. Good luck.

Part 1. is easy.
Part 2. is a talk I'd like to sit in on, as I'm yet to hear anyone anywhere provide a seriously substantial and compelling answer.

I suppose though that like attracts like. Idiots have always had ways of defending themselves, but you have heard the saying 'attack is the best form of defence'. If you put up a meek attack, then you loose, if you bowl them over with it there is a point where they take you seriously and start to listen.
My life though has never been easy since I have dropped off the system's radar, and so the 'odds against me' is the norm rather than the exception. The thing is though I'm at the point now where I no longer take this shit. I guess sooner or later some like-minded people might recognise it for what it is and actually give me a job if I need one. Fortunately I don't at the moment, but I always have a complete range of contingency plans which I'm constantly developing, this was just one of them.

Yeah, I guess it could definitely work at some point if you're in a frame of mind where you're thinking 'fuck it' and just want to break through.
Maybe I'm too conditioned by the normal interview process and the usual retards that interview you for a position and am imagining how those sorta dipshits would react.
If it works for you, let us know and I might shoot for a job way above my payscale by applying the same strategy. Absolutely nothing to lose.
