For some odd reason, details are still very sketchy at this point. What I do know is that "Moon Rising" aims to prove that the moon landing was hoaxed. Here's a link to the official website of the movie which provides some additional information:

"Moon Views" is available online for viewing at a cost of $19.95. I watched it several days ago. It clocks in at a little less than one hour in length (53:33 to be precise). Basically, it is little more than a collection of close-up shots of the moon made by NASA, which Jose Escamilla colorized in order to highlight what he believes are various anomalies on the surface of the moon. I was enthusiastic about these movies because Jose Escamilla is the man behind the excellent UFO documentary entitled UFOs: The Greatest Story Ever Denied (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5980990221766439646), which I consider to be essential viewing for any UFO buff--along with the 2001 UFO Disclosure Project Conference Video (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1166743665260900218).

"Moon Views" was reasonably impressive, but no more so than any number of YouTube videos I could post. Certainly, it was no more impressive than this one:

Link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75AfxhFRlhE)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75AfxhFRlhEAll in all, I think I would have been better off ordering a DVD of "UFOs: The Greatest Story Ever Denied".

I'll check out "Moon Rising" whenever its available for viewing and provide my review as soon as I am able.

There was an interview with Jose on Edge Media TV not too long ago with a few clips from Moon Rising, showed some excerpts of interviews with ex-nasa staff etc, looks very very interesting

This looks really stupid to me. He colours the moon with photoshop to "prove" it is coulourful! Then he over exposes the backgrounds in some photos to prove well nothing. The "witneses" interviewed to me all look like actors reading lines too.

Then he hires a Hollywood cinema, has a premier, seems to have a huge budget and markets the shite out of it.

If I didn't know better this whole thing has been engineered by NASA to make the entire Apollo Moon Hoax field look bad and perhaps even to take control of it.

Stinks to high heaven - I do not trust this one bit.

I expect in a couple of months this will be completely "debunked" as the final proof that the Moon Landings happened.

A couple of years ago NASA was going to publish a book debunking the Apollo hoax. Then it was suddenly dropped. I suspect they found a far more effective psy-ops project to channel the funds into... What better way that to created a hoax package and then debunk it.

BEWARE FOLKS.

Yes, well as I say, "Moon Views" was no better than any number of YouTube videos I could post, and I'll post my review of "Moon Rising" after I get a chance to watch it.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I was expecting much better than this because Jose Escamilla was also the man behind UFOs: The Greatest Story Ever Denied (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5980990221766439646), which I think you'll agree is one of the most outstanding UFO documentaries ever made. But this one turned out to be a dud nonetheless. As for "Moon Rising", we'll see...

He colours the moon with photoshop to "prove" it is coulourful!

He coloured it to highlight the structure, not to prove they were colourful. Hence why the colour was then removed yet the structures are much easier to then see.

I heard him on two shows stating that the "moon is filled with colour" and is not dull and colourless. He was very clear about this. Claiming that he used the same tones on earth to create a colour pallette for the lunar surface to show what colour it really he.

There was no grey area in his statement...(pun intended);)

The lunar lanscape is shown in its natural colour here: http://www.mapaplanet.org/explorer/moon.html

In the second half of the film, Jose compared his manual colourings with the image from the above and was stunned how close he was with his own colourings.

There is some debate whether the "flying disks" shown are just craters on the surface but that does not explain all the anomalies presented.

Hello all, first post here.

Interesting thread, I've seen quite a few Jose Escamilla productions and the similar titles usually get me mixed up. But the thing about Escamilla is, that he seems almost the only guy focusing so heavily and producing docos about Moon conspiracies; which BTW is one conspiracy I definitely believe is real, so while its not usually one of the more explored topics in the conspiracy realm, it is no doubt (in my mind) one that deserves far more attention.

Case in point -- I dont think that any of you here could have missed this little revelation:

Interesting, thanks for posting!

Here is a photo of the "monolith" that Buzz Aldrin was referring to:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fa/Monolith55103h-crop.jpg

It is located on Phobos (one of Mars' two moons). According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phobos_%28moon%29#Future_missions), an unmanned probe may be sent to Phobos, in part to investigate this so-called monolith:
In 2007 the Canadian Space Agency funded a study by Optech and the Mars Institute for an unmanned mission to Phobos known as PRIME (Phobos Reconnaissance and International Mars Exploration). A proposed landing site for the PRIME spacecraft is the "Phobos Monolith," a bright object near Stickney which casts a prominent shadow. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phobos_%28moon%29#cite_note-43) Astronaut Buzz Aldrin referred to this "monolith" in a July 22, 2009 interview with C-Span: "We should go boldly where man has not gone before. Fly by the comets, visit asteroids, visit the moon of Mars. There’s a monolith there. A very unusual structure on this potato shaped object that goes around Mars once in seven hours. When people find out about that they’re going to say ‘Who put that there? Who put that there?’ The universe put it there. If you choose, God put it there…”

Thank you kasalt,

I've already saved those pictures you posted. I've seen them before though, but I wish I could get one of the monolith images from NASA's own website. I got this brother whose quite skeptical unless he gets something sourced directly from the original NASA site.

The look on my skeptical brother's face when I had him watch what Buzz Aldrin said recently was Priceless!

This is a link to a large (5 mb) .jpg image. Scroll down from the left to about 1/3 of the way down to see the "monolith".

Oh, and if it's links to official sources you want, just have a look at this:

Dear David Icke and Fellow Members,

You probably know about these little gems that were taken by the Clementine Lunar Satellite in 1994, but if this is the first time you have become aware of this then it gives me great pleasure in presenting to you what I would call The Smoking Gun. As you can see, these objects that are resting on the moon surface have been purposely smudge to hide what it really there by whoever does this for the DOD... Take into consideration that these images are currently on an official NAVAL website, controlled by the Dept. of Defense...

These anomalies were discovered by Joseph P. Skipper on May 28th, 2004. I encourage an open discussion from everybody on this topic....

Here's another site with links to colour images of the moon:

http://www.thelivingmoon.com/43ancients/02files/Moon_Images_Menu.html#8

If anything, I'd say that it is NASA that has been debunked by "Moon Rising". In part 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuAHHTKfh4I) of Moon Rising (starting at time 3:27), you can hear the voice of Apollo 8 astronaut Jim Lovell saying:"The moon is essentially gray, no color. It looks like plaster of Paris, like dirty beach sand with lots of footprints in it."
The fact is that the moon only appears to be a dull grey from the earth due to atmospheric distortions, but Lovell was allegedly orbiting the moon at 60 miles above the surface when he made the statement quoted above. Today, we know that this claim of the moon being a dull gray and otherwise colourless object is simply not true.

NASA has adaptive optics imagery of the moon that they have not released to the public, for some mysterious reason. "Adaptive optics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adaptive_optics#Adaptive_optics_in_astronomy)" refers to a technique that allows ground-based telescopes to remove the blurring affects caused by Earth's atmosphere. The fact that these images are not being shared with the public quite possibly means that they may have something to hide.
