A while ago I put a thread up about how the Illuminati scum were going to force us all to use dangerous low energy light bulbs.
That time has now come. Incandescent bulbs are now no longer being sold in UK shops.
They have been replaced with low energy bulbs which have the following properties ...
1) Mercury emitting fumes
2) Epileptic and headache emission frequencies
3) Dull and hazy light producing extreme fatigue
I've just bought 150 of the old fashioned soon to be banned incandescent bulbs on top of my collection of 154 naughty bulbs below ...
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=gT7LOV6tieQ
IMO low energy bulbs have been designed to make humans even more dumbed down than they already are.

Yes, saw your thread and watched the quick vid. Those energy saving Fluro's are shit. They put out a pathetic low light.
Mate with 254 of those. That's a lot of light bulbs  you'll never use that many in your live time. I hope. You could start selling them off at twice the price you bought for them.
But having said that, the ones we have, keep blowing They are not what they used to be. We lived in a house for 35 years and it was a very, very rare occasion that one would blow.

Incandescent bulbs have been known to cause paranoia and episodes of mania which can result in consumer panic. :p

Light bulbs that do not contain toxic heavy metals with low vapor pressures are being banned? This makes me sad :(

u1 Technology
Introducing: Electron Stimulated Luminescence™ Lighting Technology
Electron Stimulated Luminescence (ESL™) Lighting Technology is an entirely new, energy efficient lighting technology. It is neither incandescent, fluorescent nor LED.
To contrast:
* Incandescent bulbs heat a filament to generate light.
* Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL) send a current through a mercury vapor that emits UV light to excite a phosphor.
* Light Emitting Diodes (LED) create light by electrically stimulating a semiconductor material
ESL Lighting Technology uses accelerated electrons to stimulate phosphor to create light, making the surface of the bulb “glow”. ESL Technology creates the same light quality as an incandescent but is more energy conserving. There is no use of the neurotoxin Mercury (Hg) in the lighting process.
Tested, Proven & Safe
In creating ESL Technology, Vu1 merged several existing and proven technologies then uniquely adapted them for “lighting”. Vu1 uses commonly sourced, non-hazardous, commercial materials that are customized to our specifications. Our ESL Technology is encased in standard light bulb glass which is sourced from existing light bulb glass manufacturers. No specialized glass is required.
We are currently developing a highly energy efficient, perfect light quality, mercury-free light bulb.
Safe as a lighting source, the ESL Technology fits neatly into classic light bulb shapes familiar to consumers everywhere. This eliminates the need to bend the technology into an unusual, twisted spiral shape (CFL) or have costly and heavy heat dissipation designed into the bulb housing (LED).
Key gate-keeping elements of the technology and associated manufacturing processes are patent pending.

Light Bulb Technology Comparison
Technology comparison tableThe arrival of Vu1's ESL Technology adds an important new path for residential lighting options.
For energy efficiency, Vu1 is targeting to be equal or better than the CFL.
However, unlike either the CFL or the LED, Vu1 carries forward desirable incandescent lighting features loved by consumers today:
- perfect light quality
- instant-on
- ability to fully dim
In a world where consumers and governments are growing increasingly sensitive to Climate Change impacts, the carbon footprint size of a product throughout its lifecycle really matters. ESL Technology has a favorably small footprint beside the huge manufacturing and disposal costs footprints being generated by LED and CFL light bulb technology.
Technology Introduction
Initially, we plan to produce various sizes of Vu1-branded, ESL-powered Reflector Bulbs - spotlights and floodlights commonly used in residential kitchens, dining rooms and living areas.
ESL Technology can be further adapted to many different types of bulbs. We intend to expand into other bulb forms such as A-Bulb, Fluorescent Tube, PAR and others based on demand and available resources.

Thanks for the reminder steppe...I'll be stocking up ;)

Got a few stocked up as well, not as many as you though.
LOL
But I am going to take all these new "green type" to the recycling place, and give the guy there the reason for taking them, I will report back.
I think this is one of those times as Icke says " we should all do this on mass"
I urge everyone to bombard their local council with these dangerous toxic energy efficient crap.

Just been at the recycle place
I said to the chap
I was checking on the internet and I found out these (8) bulbs are very dangerous and I want to dispose of them.
He said "full of mercury" and put them in a mercury recycling bin.
I wonder how they will be disposed of and who the poor f@cker that has to take them apart.
Now I'm low energy free :)

there's a fire station in america that still has a lightbulb that has been working for over a hundred years,no point in them making those they would never get rich.

Perhaps we could hold a reverse Kristallnacht and take to the streets, smashing all houses in who have the tell tale spiral hanging out of the top of their lamps.
Just a thought.
I prefer candles and torches anyway. It may be a good thing. Besides, we always have the light of our 50" television sets to get us to the fridge in the kitchen and back. Don't see what all the fuss is about.

Think i'll give candle light a wizz. Mercury aside, these silly bulbs don't produce enough light.
