That man is a legend. I've heard from people who work in call centres that they get played that recording during training sessions. :D
It's more than 10 years old btw, I remember hearing a wav of it back in '98.

Awesome, he'll run himself into bad health though, I just hang up on telesales people. Don't allow them to annoy you.
My friend is the (insert corporation here) worst nightmare, he asks them all kinds of difficult questions, even about their personal life, sometimes keeping them talking for ten or fifteen minutes, she leads them on for a laugh only to always politely decline any offers in the end.

I have all calls without caller ID (as most telesales calls are) automatically barred on my landline anyway, so I miss out on the fun of these nowadays. But my favourite trick used to be to say "oh, can you hang on a minute" and then leave them waiting patiently for an hour or so before hanging up. ;)

At least you are polite about it, I just leave the phone off the hook after giving them grief, depending what mood Im in. I find them quite convenient for venting off steam :)
Im on TPS but they still filter through, they really get to me, imagine all the elderly and disabled that have to get up off their chairs to answer them, only to be pressurised into something
That was just voted No.1 or 2 on a programme called "Rude Tube" on Channel 4 (U.K.) tonight. 1st Time I've heard it, it is brilliant, pure crack up.
