What do people here think of this guy? I'm quite cynical of gurus in general especially the YouTube gurus. Though I found Stripping the Gurus never mentioned Siva Baba. I used to like watching his videos, but he's starting to seem rather cult like. It may also be interesting to note that he's in favour of a new world order.

he seems to be well packaged and well funded...which sets alarm bells ringing

he refers to his belief in a one world government, which tells me he is either naively puting out big ideas that sound nice "one world, one government ladee da"...or he is a stooge for the new world order

I would tend to keep these well packaged spiritual teachers at arms length, especially ones that spring up in america..eckhart tolle, andrew cohen et al the ones that are a bit nicey, nicey polished up for oprah

to be honest though never judge a book by its cover, I have never really seen or read anything by this guy, he has just not caught my attention enough

Not sure about well funded. I think he mentioned in one of his videos how he was broke quite recently. Though he seems well trained. Gone through all the mystery schools and things like that. That usually fuels peoples suspicions and I guess mine as well.

That's what I was thinking. When I first heard him say it I thought it was from a misunderstanding (in my opinion) of what the term actually means, but then one his website he lists one of his interests as a one world government. This is odd because people normally don't equate "new world order" with world government. This either shows he's bothered to do research on the term or that was possibly part of his training.

It wouldn't supprise me if he is part of the "Brotherhood" (or whatever you want to call it). It would make sense to get as many different people from different cultures and beliefs to sing the same tune so as to get all different people to agree we need a new world order.

I'm the same way inclined, especially after all the things I've read about so called gurus. The idea just seems so perverse to me. Having some "enlightened" person who's supposed to tell you how to live your life and guide you through it. If I learnt one thing from this life it's not to rely on others to help you wth your spiritual matters. It's a long road that's best to be taken on your own. Occasionally you may come to a crossing and you're not sure where to go. It would be wise to ask for directions, but not to take it to heart as how can you be sure they actually know the way? That's the thing I don't like about gurus. You have to trust that they know the way themselves and are not knowingly deceiving you.

Well to be honest with you the cover seems very nice. Something about him did appeal quite a bit to me. I think it's something to do with his eyes. He came across as a very wise man and I can almost feel him looking into my soul.

It was interesting how he had this video on how to erase karma. One day I noticed he removed the mantra from his video. I then saw another video by another YouTube "guru" saying how it's impossible and anyone who states that is a phoney, or something like that. Though you can still find out what the mantra is if you do a bit of looking.:D

I dont think he's trustworthy at all.

He is talking about fixing the financial problem of the united states?
Well, i guess then that he isint aware that this recession is engineered by elitist international scum bankers, who own the not-so-federal reserve, and that our entire monetary system is itself totally counterfeit.
It is not backed by anything real, is it.
Nope. I guess he isint 'enlightened' enough.

First of all, he reminds me of another pretender of enlightenment, Jaggi Vasudev.
Check it out for ourself. His voice, wak of talking is almost identical.

Well I didn't really fool for it, but I was drawn in to his videos. I was also interested in his 'Grace Light' thing and wanted to take part in it. Though he's sort of developed a sort of cult with people worshiping him and stuff, so I decided to stay clear of it.

I see about checking out the guy you mentioned. They speak the same? Could be some sort of NLP going on. I noticed that one "disciple of Wang (the yogameditation guy) was behaving a lot like him. It was really funny watching him trying to imitate him. That's what also turned me of Wang(or is it Wrong? Can't really remember).
