I recently received a private message which made me revisit a post I had previously made at the old forum. Since I took a bit of time in creating it again, I figured I might as well post it here. No commentary, just a thematic sequence of pictures that proved to be thought provoking.

Adra, i was just wondering. I remember on the original Icke forum you us showed pictures of almost every religious icon doing the same posture as George Washington below. I was wondering if you could provide me with the links to those pictures. Thanks

In other words there is nothing scary or Satanic about that sculpture of Washington. :)

It is the image of Zeus -

What Greeks say about Zeus

Zeus was the supreme ruler of all Greek gods. He was also known as the god of the sky and the god of justice. Many Greeks believe that Zeus was last seen on top of Mount Olympia (located in Olympia, Greece) Greeks think that Zeus has can control the weather, gather up all the clouds and create rain, or create other storms that involve the sky.

Punishments, Rewards, and Weapons

The way Zeus punishes people, who lie or break oaths, is by striking them with his weapon, a thunderbolt. Zeus’ punishments were either extremely severe, or his rewards were extremely generous.

Myth about Zeus

A myth is a story or tale that is not real. People said there was a war between the Titans and Olympians. The Olympians were gods who disagreed with the ruler and his rules. The Titans were the rest of the gods. The leader of the Olympians was Zeus. The leader of the Titans was Cronus, Zeus’ father. They were supposed to have a common ruler, but Zeus and some other gods decided to declare war. Luckily Ares, the god of war and Nike, the goddess of victory were on the Olympians’ side. They won because most of the strong gods were on their side. Also these gods were strategic and intelligent. All gods were powerful, but the Olympians had powers that would come handy in war. Zeus became the supreme ruler of all gods since he was the ruler of the Olympians.
There is another myth that gives a whole different story of how Zeus became the supreme ruler of all gods. It says that when baby Zeus was born, his father, Cronus, had a bad habit of swallowing his children. He did this because he was afraid that his children might grow up and defeat him in a fight for the throne of supreme ruler. Rhea, Cronus’ wife, didn’t want him to eat their newest son, Zeus. Instead of giving Zeus to his father, she gave him a stone wrapped around a blanket to eat. She hid Zeus in a cave in Mt. Olympus. She took care of him secretly because she knew that one day, Zeus would bring all his brothers and sisters back. He would also take the throne and become the ruler of all gods. After he grew up, he fed Cronus an herb that made him vomit out all of his brothers and sisters. Since Zeus rescued everyone, the gods decided to make him supreme ruler of all gods. But, there was a big fight and Zeus severely hurt Cronus with his thunderbolt. The other Olympians killed the Titans. Zeus knew Cronus could never die, so he sent him to a deserted island.

While I find it funny that you managed to completely miss the point of the post, I think it's more disturbing that you don't find anything "scary" about depicting the symbolic founder of America as a Greek storm god. This is called "symbolism" december. "Zeus" is just another in a long line of renaming and retelling of the same stories of the same gods throughout history. Which is why he is depicted identically to them. "Zeus" is Adad, start from there.

I'm sure you can find some good articles on Wikipedia, because we all know that's an excellent source of accurate information. :o

Well, what is the point of this thread than?...
I believe that there is nothing scary or sinister about the Greek mythology.

I was once looking at a Wiki page on elecricity, and where it talked about Edison, it said something like "Edison discovered elecricity by sticking his thumb up his ass and singing I Got the Power! by Snap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1sZLSO9va0)"

ROFL.

I find Prometheus's fate pretty scary and sinister.

Prometheus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ring any bells with anything you might have ever read, in an Icke book, for example?

I am sorry but what does Wikipedia have to do with my post?
I see that both of you are trying to be sarcastic but I don't understand why...

Would you like to EXPLAIN?

That nearly every thematic "god" or goddess from ancient Sumeria to modern Christianity have been depicted in identical occult mystery school poses? Does this not shed some light on who is responsible for these mythologies and religions?

december, this pose is also used in Freemasonry, among other societies. It's called the Sign of the Square. I even included a picture of a Mason displaying it. The point is that there is a common thread linking all of these things together.

OK. So, what's new about that?

The cross used to be a Pagan symbol... Every religion has its roots in Paganism.

Hermaphoridism is symbolic of a unified whole, male and female energy. There are many creation legends that state either original man or the creator gods were hermaphroditic or androngynous.

lottie, I think the Baphomet character is just another fiction character like Mickey Mouse or Tom and Jerry. :) :)

So, the dude who drew that picture (his name was Eliphas Lévi) just like Walt Disney had pretty good imagination...
But the Christian church says that it suppose to be veeeeery scary, of course...
