Spent a week cruising the south west UK, Cornwall in my VW bus. Had a great time. Really chilled out. Here's a couple of pics.
Parking available in Port Isaac harbour when the tide is out.

Some people will pay a fortune for a view like this. This is the view from the bed in the back of my bus and it cost me £12 to stop at this camp site for the night. We're overlooking the village of Looe.

What a view, good one:) Wouldn't mind doing that, as you say great way to chill, but i've only got a mini, can't sleep in that!:p;) Then again, put the back seats down, should be able to fit a mattress in!:D

Yep you can't beat a tent, although I also love campers too & given the choice I know which one I'd prefer, lol!!
Jeff I'm glad you had a lovely chilled out time around Cornwall in your lovely bus, nice one!!

I tented at a couple of shows last year and froze my klinkers off. The van is great and I have an awning with it that has the option of inner tent bedroom for guests. lol
Here she is and her name is Snotty. She's a 1967 split screen panel van and covered around 800 miles last week including around 300 around Cornwall.
