After spending sometime here reading through the numerous threads I've come to the conclusion that this place is lacking, and seems to be overpopulated by sycophants who are no better than the so-called "trolls" they crown and harass upon arrival. I'm seeing the same names expressing themselves in an overly smug manner, pontificating how "their" forum is to be "cleansed" of all whom they declare "undesirable".
It's very much not what I was expecting from a "David Icke" forum, and I'm considering resigning my attendance indefinitely.

Anderew. It's not easy running this forum and keeping everyone happy. Why not email Sean our webmaster/forum administrator and offer to help moderate. It's easy to critisise. We could do with the extra help.

The answer is very very simple my boy. Put your hand on your mouse, there yeah go, now tab on The Forum link, nice, nice, nearly there sunshine, and hey presto, woo hooooo your in a much more comfortable place, for you.

That would be a shame Andrew. I feel you have much to add to the forum.
There is a fine line between a bit of humour though and deliberate thread hijacking. Maybe you should try the moderating thing as John suggested?
I guess to the only way the so called TROLLS have any power in here is if we give it to them. I guess if we find a certain person annoying and distracting we should just learn to ignore them in stead of bite. I find they can be rather irritating but maybe I should have more tolerace and just ignore.i am new to forums and still learning the ins and outs. One thing I would not like to see happen here is the wonderful and really useful information disappear in amongst a lot of off topic banter. it becomes difficult to follow a thread which has been swayed off track like this.
Everyone has differing opinions on this, but I am certain that their should be no place here for direct personal insults and nastiness. Thats just not on in a forum like this. Challenging views is fine but insults and attacks are simply not necessary IMO
just a few thoughts of mine for today, although my head is rather hazy after one hours sleep (my two year old kept me up most of the night:eek: )

It's more the way the growing elite in here seem to be railroading anyone with a differing opinion to theirs, and the removing/banning of users in opposition to Icke (thus the said "elite"), is making this place look more like a controlled environment, rather than a collective of free-minded individuals expressing their uniqueness.

I, like most others here, have no problem with differing opinions and/or facetious remarks. The ones that are a problem and need to be removed are those who are abusive, ridiculing and deliberately disruptive. They use foul language just for the sake of it. If someone is making a point and need to use strong language to do it, fine, no problem! They make absolutely no contribution to the thread and with their continual rubbish detracts from the subject at hand by drawing others into their world.
We are here to trade knowledge, ask questions and grow, not be subjected to abuse.
I think the mods have done an excellent job in sorting out the trouble makers. Admittedly there are still a few that I believe will, in time, show their true colours but that is just MY opinion. I am sure the mods know who they are too and will act accordingly when and if the time comes.

It is an official forum and it is up to the owners to set the guidelines (I don't use the word rules) therefore it is their prerogative. Likewise it is up to us to decide if we wish to work within those guidelines or expect to be evicted. If someone came to my house and carried on like a first class jerk, I would have them evicted if they ignored my expression of concern and continued their antagonistic behaviour. No one is expecting goody-two-shoes behaviour but I think we should be able to expect a more mature approach.

This focus on moderators is both predictable and ridiculous: and the doom saying is hardly reflected in the accelerating activity. Moderators are irrelevant for anyone here to participate in the spirit of the forum. Andrew seems to be jumping the gun by assuming he cant say what he hasn't yet tried to: I say "say what you got to say: and say it as well as you can"
I'd never have got anywhere net campaigning if i wasnt at least able to do that: try talking about 9/11 Truth on American Patriot's! Wit and reasonableness can acheive wonders

well i theory yes more cops on the street would cut down crime... but when you live in a society where the government pretty much create the crime then 0f coarse no is the answer...
but this forum does not create the trols, they log on and come here them selfs..., hence any kind of moderation is good. and giving up is never an aswer no matter which way you look at it.
there will always be trolls here as its the nature of Davids Work.. you will get fools that want to disrupt.. but keeping them at arms length is better than letting them take over the place like the old forum...
