Morning everyone, hope all is well.

I'm currently making a short student documentary on the big brother surveillance society we have in the UK and we have an interview lined up with a prominent anti-id card organization in the not too distant future.

The doc is an investigation in to the numerous forms of surveillance we find ourselves under at the moment and how this might all tie in with ID cards aswell.

I'm looking to see if anyone here has any questions they would like to put ask this organization? We've written our own, however I'd like your input as there are some well educated people here that might have something to offer.

Ask any question, however it may not be used in the doc.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask...

Many thanks.

If the anti-ID card organisation is the one I think it is, could you ask why they are so strict about keeping all discussion purely about ID cards and the database and discouraging discussion of the wider issues about the Orwellian state that is being built all around us?

I do have great respect for the work they do (indeed I'm on their mailing list, if it's the organisation I think it is), and I sort of understand the reasoning behind keeping things focused narrowly on the single issue, but I personally think it's a mistake. I'd be interested to hear what they have to say.

I have one....ooops 2!

About 6 months back it came to light the Harriot Harmen had lied about the number of illegal immigrants working within the security industry in this country.

How are those monitoring our cctv system vetted?

On the issue of ID cards, what guarantee do we have our details wont end up on a disc left on the tube/a bus/in a pub, or simply just ditched, again!

Thanks so far for your input.

What I forgot to mention is that if your question is based on statistics, information or data, then please can you give some resources backing up your facts/info, so we can qualify it.

Thanks.

Hey you lazy journo, I use to be one too. We'll give you the leads, you do the research, unless you're offering to pay us too! :p
