I just want to know what you would do in a situation like mine:
I'm 16 and I recently found that it is possible to do homeschooling here in Romania. Although it is illegal to homeschool directly with the state, you can sign up at an USA school for homeschooling and since it's legal there, you'll get a diploma which is recognised in Romania too. I already contacted a school like this and they were nice people.
My problem is that I can't find more information because I need to be packed with information if I'm doing this kind of move. My parents will reluctantly agree for me to homeschool (unschool) although they surely won't help me find additional information because they're working for the government of course... to impose public schooling on me. An internet forum that will help a child 100x more than his parents, a great society we live in by the way...
For example I need information on whether or not I'll have to take an exam or not if I'm gonna go to a Romanian college after completing the courses of this school:http://www.independent-learning.com/newsite/aboutus.htm
There are about 30 people or more in this country that did this, and I found one of them but she won't respond to my message on a forum.
School starts soon and I don't know what to do, so I'll apreciate any comments.
By the way, I'd like to homeschool of course because to get rid of school, but in the 2,5 years that I'll have free I'd like to learn web design and get my own job as a freelance webdesigner. If I'm gonna have a job, then I'll be able to go to college without attending, only taking exams.
