I didn't know what to make of this..when I saw it on TV..
I kept on thinking of Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz..
the girl looks like shes in pain...doesn't seem like tears of joy..
What do you make of this? I wonder what the next season will bring...

She could just be crying at the emotional trauma of actually having to sit through something as mind-numbingly boring as American Idol...I know I'd have the same reaction.
Seriously, though, she looks terrified at times, other times like she's just overwhelmed at what's going on. Hard to really tell without more information. Creepy either way.

LOL, so true. But yes, the video is a little strange. I can't tell if she's happy or sad.

No Paranoia is involed here. Something didn't sit right with me while watching this video on TV years ago... It's not normal for a girl to look that scared, and violated while watching a concert. It seems like some of you posters just want to ignore the obvious, that they were doing something to that girl to make her react the way she did...
