Biologist, Joseph Chilton Pearce writes about the four brains : reptilian , mammalian , human , and neocortex . Each of these brains controls a different part of our perception and personality .
The reptilian brain definately connects us to our physical bodies , to our ability to connect to the elementals .
The mammalian brain contains fight-or-flight codes , which connect us to our emotional bodies .
The human brain is noted for reasoning , which connects us to our mental bodies .
And the neocortex or higher brain connects us to our spiritual bodies .
By tuning in to one aspect of our brain or another , we are connecting to one or another of those four bodies .
Being able to "find" the four bodies is a good starting point in finding multidimensional consciouness .

What do you feel about this idea ?

The different parts of the brain are centers for different functions, yet there is also a holistic connection between all the parts in the brain.

Our awareness can shift from focusing on physical sensations, to focusing on thoughts, to focusing on moving muscles, to our breath and so on. So awareness is not located in any specific region. I would even say that consciousness - even though the brain is a central processing place for consciousness - is located throughout the whole body within each and everyone of the cells, and even more than that; consciousness is also located outside the body, or, to be more correct, the physical body is the first body, the world (planet Earth) is the second body, the Milky Way galaxy the third body, and so on. So consciousness permeates everything, is in everything, or even, everything is made of condensed consciousness, even space. Physical matter does not create consciousness. Consciousness creates, and is, physical matter. So the whole universe is our body, and the 'center' of the universe is consciousness.
