Hi Everyone

I keep thinking about peoples avatar pictures linked with your user name for this forum and I was wondering why people chose their pictures and what it means to them.

With regards to mine, well I suppose my picture represents myself going within to truly find myself and heal myself to become the person I want to become, especially physically getting rid of healing, releasing all the weight, emotions, anger etc from my whole life to move on and let my spirit/soul shine once again on all levels. :eek:

thanks for starting this thread, i love admiring everyone's avatar on here too :)


Your's is also quite fruity misscpb ;)

Mine is the cover of the book 'Behold a Pale Horse' by William Cooper. He basically died to bring us the truth and well it's my hommage to him using the cover pic as my avatar. It was through reading this incredible book last year that i was 'awakened'. Which of course means lots of this :eek: and this :mad: and this :( but i wouldn't change it for the world cause it includes lots of this :) too, i am happy to know and be able to try and make a diference now, messing with the plans of those illuminati bastards lol.

So that's the story of my avatar! i don't think it says anything about me, just well it's colourful and i am too and well i just think it's a beautiful piece of cover art at the same time and the book means a lot to me. I think it's a symbol of hope too, seeing the person rising up with the horse from the masked typically American cowboy figure on horseback...i just love it. This book cost a man his life. It deserves to be shown and respected.

This will be an interesting thread as I have also been thinking the same thing for quite some time...

Well I've had various av's so far, my first were of sunsets in sacred places which I have visited (& they are two of my favourite things), I had Monument Valley, Stonehenge & Sedona. Then I had a couple of crop circle ones, Stonehenge crop circle & the dolphin one, which then led me onto pics of dolphins. I chose them because they're very special creatures to me & always raise my spirits when I see them. I hope that when others see my dolphin av it raises theirs too :)

& I love your av too, very sexy & intriguing, hehe ;)

My "space monkey" avatar is about the dichotomy of man, or something, and about my own personal quest to understand and overcome this. It's also inspired by Fight Club, as a wink to that film/book.

My avatar symbolises the most amazing experiences I've had under the influence of LSD. The image is of an acid tab but it also incorporates yin and yang, to me this means the good trips as well as the bad, both of which I enjoyed emensely, yes I'm strange!.

Also I have a yin yang tattoo which is symbolic of... well, everything and nothing. ;)

To add an avatar, go to the Quick Links tab at the top of the page, go to Edit Profile & then click on Edit Avatar on the left hand side. You can then go to Option 2 to Upload from your pc, using Browse... Hope this helps :)

My avatar(s) are represented by the tarot cards and mirror what is going on in my inner and outer world. Some the regulars here will notice they change quite frequently. To me the tarot is an unbelievable teaching tool as well as an oracle. There are so many different layers of meaning you can explore with them from the pictorial representation, to the numerological as well as astrological aspects of the cards. Then there is the whole synchro-mystic aspect with the cards reflecting perfectly what is occurring in the inner and outer worlds of the person using them

Gandalf reminds me of the magick of life, the beauty in all things and the transcendance in the face of great evil ( after an epic battle with Balrog Gandalf dies in flesh as Gandalf the Grey only to be reborn as Gandalf the White) that when we make the choice to overcome and to stand in the gift of grace unwavering as we face great evil we are much stronger and more aware because of it.

He also reminds me that one must find their own way, their own path and that we are the creaters on this plane of existence, and most importantly that nothing ever dies, it simply transforms.

Probably have reduced the size since I joined, maybe, maybe storage or bandwidth issues ? I dont really know but I made mine about two pixels smaller than the limit, what are the limits now ? I may get different size available because of time/date settings

I really don't know why I picked mine. But with my avatar, it could either be a sunset or a sun rise, an ending and a beginnig. An ending to being under mind control and a beginning of awarness. Plus that time of the day is my most favorate.

I have had a few with deep meaning but the current one is just a really cool photo (I think, anyway) of two F-111s doing a dump and burn over the Storey bridge in Brisbane at Riverfire. Riverfire is billed as the night they set the river on fire. It is the culmination of the River Festival and they have fireworks going off from buildings, barges, bridges etc and ends with the two F-111s doing a flyover. well actually the do a fly over at the start as well but only do the dump and burn at the end.

Now, how about us members reverse the trend and keep the original meaning of what the word represents. The words are symbolic, not only to the elite, BUT it's also important for us to keep a firm grip of their original meaning/intent.

I would like to change the username pic (avatar) to another new term'. I would like moderators or anyone to conduct a poll to if collectively desired, come-up with a new name/word/meaning for avatar. I also feel, that David Icke would also welcome this change.

My suggestion to replace avatar is; idp (identification picture)

Anyway, (in brief) my idp:) has much meaning to a friend of mine. He is on a spiritual journey, he had many questions and one day driving along a 'beach' road he demanded answers. Then he looked up into the sky and saw a face in the clouds. He said to his passenger friend, "do you see the face".. his friend said "NO!". So he stopped the car, took a picture with his mobile phone then looked up, only to see the face had dispersed.

He then looked at the picture on his phone and showed it to his friend, who then saw the face.

Echo was a beautiful nymph, fond of the woods and hills, where she devoted herself to woodland sports. She was a favorite of Artemis, and attended her in the chase. But Echo had one failing; she was fond of talking, and whether in chat or argument, would have the last word. One day Hera was seeking her husband, who, she had reason to fear, was amusing himself among the nymphs. Echo by her talk contrived to detain the goddess till the nymphs made their escape. When Hera discovered it, she passed sentence upon Echo in these words: "You shall forfeit the use of that tongue with which you have cheated me, except for that one purpose you are so fond of - reply. You shall still have the last word, but no power to speak first."

This nymph saw Narcissus, a beautiful youth, as he pursued the chase upon the mountains. She loved him and followed his footsteps. O how she longed to address him in the softest accents, and win him to converse! But it was not in her power. She waited with impatience for him to speak first, and had her answer ready. One day the youth, being separated from his companions, shouted aloud, "Who's here?" Echo replied, "Here." Narcissus looked around, but seeing no one called out, "Come". Echo answered, "Come." As no one came, Narcissus called again, "Why do you shun me?" Echo, asked the same question. "Let us join one another," said the youth. The maid answered with all her heart in the same words, and hastened to the spot, ready to throw her arms about his neck. He started back, exclaiming, "Hands off! I would rather die than you should have me!" "Have me," said she; but it was all in vain. He left her, and she went to hide her blushes in the recesses of the woods. From that time forth she lived in caves till at last all her flesh shrank away. Her bones were changed into rocks and there was nothing left of her but her voice. Narcissus's cruelty in this case was not the only instance. He shunned all the rest of the nymphs, as he had done poor Echo. One day a maiden who had in vain endeavored to attract him uttered a prayer that he might some time or other feel what it was to love and meet no return of affection. The avenging goddess heard and granted the prayer.

There was a clear fountain, with water like silver, to which the shepherds never drove their flocks, nor the mountain goats resorted, nor any of the beasts of the forest; neither was it defaced with fallen leaves or branches; but the grass grew fresh around it, and the rocks sheltered it from the sun. Hither came one day the youth, fatigued with hunting, heated and thirsty. He stooped down to drink, and saw his own image in the water; he thought it was some beautiful water-spirit living in the fountain. He stood gazing with admiration at those bright eyes, those locks curled like the locks of Dionysos or Apollo, the rounded cheeks, the ivory neck, the parted lips, and the glow of health and exercise over all. He pined away and died; and when his shade passed the Stygian river, it leaned over the boat to catch a look of itself in the waters. The nymphs mourned for him, especially the water-nymphs; and when they smote their breasts Echo smote hers also. There are many interpretations for the single and double caduceus... I like the Thoth Caduceus..

The Caduceus additionally represents the DNA helix, which contains the crystalline frequency of all morphogenetic fields.

I actually had help from a friend, Raphael, but yes, it was all done by hand, although I have some posters that I got printed up. You can see some of the other patterns, that were all but a couple of pencil ones from Raphael, designed by me, and a photo the posters, here.....

Have a go at doing the 'magic eye' thing with it on your screen...you know where you let your eyes unfocus and see inside the image...there is no other image inside it like the 'magic eye' pictures, but it is still fun to have a go at doing it with the Flower Of Life pattern...well, I find it fun to do.

I've done that with the original painting, not on the computer, and I found that I stared at it for what seemed hours. I've yet to do it tripping though.

I would like to share you something that happened in my highschool. I was in chemistry highschool - ecology.
We were often in the laboratory and one day we were "cooking" something with chemistry. Some girl were staying near her desk and criticase others. She told me that my work is not good, I should do that other way, and I told her..."look, you`re worry about someone else work, but your is burning."

And it is true, she turned her back to her own work and looked others and bla bla bla. The same thing is in life. We don`t live for others, we live for ourselves.

I've had several avatars since joining and I tend to change them depending upon my state of mind. Sometimes a picture a picture might capture my imagination or I might be trying to make a statement. At the moment I am simply watching. ;)

My avatar is of a little stream in the village i grew up in, called winkle street!! my friends and i used to play there when we were little and lost many a watch or shoe in that stream on long hot summer days!!! i still love to go down there and sit on that bridge and reminisce!! :)

This here little story young lady made me smile like you won't believe. Not only because i could see you there playing with your friends and loosing your shoe...but because i think i knew what it meant to you before you told us and i always wanted to be there too...playing in the stream! It's one of my most favourite avatars actually!!! And i love it that you still go there. :)

It looks to me like a childs dream...and it's this that touches me the most. The innocence of youth, playing in a stream without a worry in the world.
