I've been going around some of the sale's online. It's pathetic. £1 off this, £2 off that. If these retailers think many are going to be tempted by this level of price cutting I predict they will do very little comparative trade.
Worst sale prices I can ever remember. Perhaps they are trying it on a bit at first. I often know where to buy the item cheaper with no sale on, than with their sale.
I'll keep looking. If anyone comes across some good sales please let me know.
A good sale involves 2 for 1, half price, whole stock discounted, Clearance!
Need us to buy? Make it ultra cheap and when your stock has gone go bust!
Not buying otherwise. :D

I think the Woolies shenanigans said it all really, the media (again, every Jan..)making out there are these "massive" sale, people pounding the pavement,...etc...maybe just a ploy to make things look better and more enticing to shoppers than they actually are?? One minute they are telling us there is a massive credit crunching downturn, the next minute, shoppers are out by their thousands "snapping up bargains."
I haven't found any really good online sales, but will post if I do.

i went shopping yesterday in leicester, the highcross centre. its was not as busy as last year, and there where many closed/empty shop around the whole city centre. the collapse is starting to hit the high street.
we are only 33% through the collapse.
i suggest people read about jim rogers, gerald celente, nouriel roubini, nassim nichiolas taleb, watch bloomberg etc.
these are the nearest things to truth you will get. the bbc/sky are quite frankly dumbed down, tabloid news.

I had to go into town yesterday to give my daughter a lift to work. I was expecting traffic jams and hoards of people scrambling to spend money they don't have. What a suprise to find the headlines "Best sales ever" a lie, and very few people out buying.

These my Friends are the fuckers who milk the stock market for every penny. DONT' buy fuck-all u don't need...
