What a strange picture. It looks kind of elf like to me. I know you didn't see it when you took it, but do you remember having any strange feelings, such as feeling cold or static:confused:

Looks like a cartoon alien.....
Cottingham fairies anyone?
We had this guy recently on here (RPAL) trying to make out Venus was a UFO and of course Casbolt, so I'm on my guard..
Even Conan Doyle believed in fairies after seeing this:

You have a point Edelweiss.
Up until the Industrial revolution and the appearance of electricity, the believe in fairies or elementals was widespread. The Cottingham Fairies saga was like the final nail in the coffin for beliefs in supernatural beings. It was almost like it was engineered to put an end to the general populations belief in the hierarchy of spiritual beings, fairies, elementals, salamanders and such.
The UFO phenomena is much the same. Those people who have a vested interest in keeping knowledge of inter-dimensional entities withheld from the public are no longer resorting to debunking. They realize that people are going to make up their own mind when presented with compelling evidence. So rather than trying to deny their existence they manufacture sightings which are obviously suss. The idea is that people will see its an obvious fake and it will cast doubt on the others.
Something tells me by the style of lucidlou's writing and the quality of the images that he is definitely not the genuine article.
Sorry mate but it ain't washing with me!

The problem with photos and videos is the age of technology we live in. We can create anything to look believable on camera and on video, which means that when something is real, unfortunately many people will not believe. Even if you did get the image scientifically proven to be geniune, there isn't much proof that you didn't create a model to pose while you were taking the photo.
I am not saying that I don't believe you, but in this day and age I don't think you can expect anyone to believe you when technology is so advanced. No amount of digital evidence could be convincing.
Even if there was an alien in front of a billion witnesses there will still be people claiming it was a hoax, that someone could have pulled it off.
The only way that the majority would believe in UFOs and aliens would be if they put it on the telly with some famous scientists, academics, CIA and military claiming that it was real. And even then there would be still be some conspiracy theorists saying it was all a hoax to make us believe and get us to give up more of our freedoms to protect us from these UFO's. Reagon said as much.

the need to believe, the amount of disinfo, counter intelligence, hoaxes, charlatans, biased perceptions of researchers, its a minefield. trust no one, the truth is outhere and also within, lol

Hmmm! Seems like taloho has experienced the very same entity as lucidlou.
Curious! The photo doth seem freakish to say the least. But i always feel that "otherworldly" entities- sorta- resemble patterns related to our "normal," physical states, sort of! In a round about way, they kinda mimic our form- but not always correctly! They'll often appear- when they do- very strange to us, even "fake," for they follow very different "laws" so to speak.

hi lucidlou and thank you for sharing your story with us :) I'm sorry to hear about your family tragedy too and hope that you are ok now.
Well, i'm amazed, and if, and i do think that you are a true person, not making this up for a joke, you've captured something incredible there! That creature doesn't look like anything i've seen before, and i'm sorry, i may be mad, but it does not look like a person jogging or any kind of child i've seen either! and as you said, it only took you 2 seconds to take the pic, you would've seen someone pop into the frame. Also, it would have to be some kind of freaky sick grey looking child if it was lol judging by the size of it.
Don't feel you're crazy or anything. If i had taken a pic like that i'd be looking at it a lot too! You just feel drawn to it, it's freaky.
Maybe you should get it analysed more, actually my OH just suggested you send it to a newspaper and they'll make it analysed for you. We'll see if we can find a website too you can send it to, a reputable one, to have it analysed further.
Personally i think it's incredible, well done! :D
Well if the earth is indeed hollow, then i guess you just captured one of its squatters!
well done!

Hi lucidlou & welcome to the forum :)
OMG that certainly is a strange picture!! You sound genuine to me & I wish you well with your research into this.
I'd also be interested to hear exactly where you took the shot & the surrounding area as I also live in Hampshire.
Thanks for sharing :)

Cool picture, lucidlou, and well documented.
There is a documentary film about this sort of thing. I think it might help shed
some light on what you saw. In any case, I think you'll enjoy it.
The film is called "The Fairy Faith" and there's some info on it here (http://www.thefairyfaith.com/) and here (http://www.thefairyfaith.com/intro3.html).

Bingo. Not a new tactic at all. In fact, it's one of the oldest in the world. The fictionalization of truth is a powerful manipulation technique that works through many levels.
Also, everything infinitetruth said is completely spot-on. We can barely trust our eyes to tell us what is "there" and what is not "there", let alone digital photography. This is why personal experiences are increasingly important. I mean, I could easily go:

I remember when you first posted that. Scared the shit outa' me. ;)
For me, the importance of personal experiance is hampered somewhat by sheer terror at what I might find, and what I've percieved to have glimpsed. Like with H.P. Lovecraft.
Something to get over...

looking at the image it actually looks fake.... this is not me saying you are hoaxing.... but the image does look fake... so I cant see it going to far because it will be to easy to debunk... however... who are we to judge what these kind of entities look like...
for me the way the back is bending over and so on... it looks like a cartoon image....
who knows how this image came about... im not one to count anything out as im sure many people pick up in entities on photos.... but this one will be hard to get out there I think...

Fair enough if you witnessed your wife and children being tied up and shot by some cold blooded armed robber. Now that would probably change your life forever; not some entity whether real or imaginary who has ZERO influence over your life.

eh lol
that's not very nice seeing as lucidlou said she already had a family tragedy that stopped her from going any further regarding this pic as a result...
Hey, i've had tonnes of events in my life, not involving anyone getting shot in front of my face or anything but i have had to watch a member of my family die and well that does change your life forever but so do less shocking events. Capturing a picture like that would change your life forever, not knowing what it is, it opens up so many possibilities... to me it looks incredible...i saw a UFO once when i was 11 and that changed things for me too.
anyway it's just an expression, "changed her life forever", no wonder lucidlou hasn't come back and posted since. :(
In any case it's got her worried since she's captured this thing with her phone cam, whatever it is, it is influencing her thoughts and her life since.

When you get visual, personal confirmation of something like this, it changes your life in a way you can't even imagine. Trust me. There's nothing like being there.

Hi everyone, sorry i havent posted over the weekend but i have been very busy with work and my children, some very positive and intresting comments posted with regards to the photo i took,as with regards to analysis i have sent the photo to ufodata magazine, russ callaghan who is editor, and also a professional camera man(tv),and photo and image analysis expert, and has been in the ufo game for over 25 years is the one who is on the case,i believe an article is to be published with analysis in the july/aug issue of the uk's only glossy ufo magazine, you can subscribe by going to www.ufodata.co.uk its a fantastic magazine, and well worth a subscription, these are the people who were behind the original uk ufo magazine, several others have looked at the image including ufo mag usa, most feedback is that the photo remains a genuine mystery,it was also stated that with the digital technology revolution it is impossible to rule out a mistake or fault or hoax, most people say it would be more credible if it was captured on 35mm film, anyway thanks to all those for their kind replies, lou.

also if it was captured on 35mm film, they can say oh it just was two negatives where the image of one appeared on the other so i think the fact that it's a photo taken with your phone, well it's incredible. I don't see how you could fake it or anything.

Kallikantzaros - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Kallikantzaros (Καλλικάντζαρος) pl. Kallikantzaroi is a malevolent goblin in Greek and Cypriot folk tradition. They dwell underground but come to the surface from 25 December to 6 January (from the winter solstice for a fortnight during which time the sun ceases its seasonal movement). Its name is possibly derived from "kalos-kentauros, or "beautiful centaur.".[1]
It is believed that Kallikantzaroi stay underground sawing the World tree, so that it will collapse, along with Earth.[1]However, when they are about to saw the final part, Christmas dawns and they are able to come to surface. They forget the Tree and come to bring trouble to mortals.
Finally, on the Epiphany (6 January), the sun starts moving again, and they must go underground again to continue their sawing. They see that during their absence the World tree has healed itself, so they must start working all over again. This happens every year.
There is no standard appearance of Kallikantzaroi, there are regional differences on their appearance. Some Greeks have imagined them with some animal parts, like hairy bodies, horse legs, or boar tusks, sometimes enormous, other times diminutive. Others see them as humans of small size smelling horribly. They are predominatly male, often with protruding sex characteristics.[1]
The Kallikantzaroi are creatures of the night. There were ways people could protect themselves during the days when the Kallikantzaroi were loose. They could leave a colander on their doorstep: if a Kallikantzaros approached for his evildoings, he would instead decide to sit and count the holes until the sun rose and he was forced to hide. The Kallikantzaroi also could not count above 2, since 3 is a holy number, and by pronouncing it, they would kill themselves. Another method of protection is to leave the fire burning in the fireplace all night so that they cannot enter through there.
Legend has it that any child born during the twelve days of the Saturnalia (17th through 26 December) was in danger of transforming to a Kallikantzaros for each Christmas season, starting with adulthood. The antidote: Binding the baby in tresses of garlic or straw, or singeing the child's toenails.
In Greek Kallikantzaros is also used for every short, ugly and usually mischievous being. If not used for the abovementioned creatures, it seems to express the collective sense for the Irish word leprechaun and the English words gnome and goblin.
