Long hair has power because Hair conducts the Holy Spirit (The natural electrical charge, or life force, that is everywhere, the soul of God Himself). Notice how in the story of Samson in the Old Testament, His Hair was his power. The laws of the Nazarite are, no cutting hair, avoid alcohol, avoid corpses, I believe. Samson was a Nazarite. Avoid alcohol because water also conducts the Holy Spirit, as in Genesis, first chapter. Water conducts electricity, alcohol cuts down on water in the brain and the body. Don't touch it. Corpses have the energy of death (anti - Holy Spirit- life force) surrounding them and it's not good to be in proximity if you can avoid it. Do not cut your hair, ever, do not even cut the split ends. DO NOT PERM OR BLEACH. OR DYE. DO NOT APPLY CHEMICAL STYLING PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND OR HEAT STYLE. It conducts best when wet (for example during baptism), so don't blow dry it, ever. Do not shave unless you absolutely have to, anywhere on your body. This is why angels love beautiful hair. This is why in Islam it is said the body of the Archangel Micheal is covered with fine hairs (so to hear the suffering of the people) and so it is, all angels have fine body hair. There is more to this but this will make it easy to understand. And try to keep hydrated, also by the way. Also, APPLY ANY KIND OF OIL OR GREASE TO YOUR BODY AND HAIR WHEN YOU HAVE THE CHANCE. Also, in Native American Indian culture, they place great importance on their hair. Something to do with power also. Thats why the men keep their hair long, but I imagine they have to trim it at some point, because I've not seen one of them with hair down to their ankles.

Do you wear glasses or contacts? or sunglasses? As I have learned, the eyes let in light, we percieve through light, and also are solar POWERED. We, can literally switch to light as a power source (THIS IS WHY SOME STIGMATICS DON'T NEED FOOD), or be sort of like a hybrid car, using some sustenance and then some solar power. There is much more energy to be had from the sun,or starlight, than through digesting food. Glasses/contacts/sunglasses cut down on light intake through the eyes. I have thrown mine away for good, it was surely somewhat hard for me to do, my vision is approximately 20/-500, 20/-560. By I have adjusted. It takes me several weeks, usually, to get the big power coming back after I have done this. And the only way that I can see energy clearly is without the glasses. Sometimes I wonder if all of our vision was already perfect and science came along and screwed it up. There are other things that might be hampering your powerflow. I have become kind of an addict, nobody can clue you in like a junkie.

Drinking a lot of water is one. Oil/grease on body/hair/eyes is one. Being outside is one (That is where heaven is) inside is more or less away from heaven. Excuse me: I don't lie.....In Tibetan Buddhism the monks are required to have a certain period of meditation on a corpse for the reasons I have already stated. I have studied Buddhism & been taught by the monks, perhaps you should try reading before blabbering off here.

As far as long hair goes, each to their own. I happen to think that men with long hair are very attractive & have a certain appeal to them (perhaps its the power coming from their hair)

Humans are electro-magnetic entities, the auric field around a person is electro-magnetic as far as i know, horse hair is known to conduct electricity, so human hair probably does to, albiet to a lesser degree. So, maybe long hair strengthens the electro-magnetic auric field. :)

My experiences show the opposite of this, I used to have really long hair for a time ( sometimes ) down at my shoulders and although there is the cultural thing of a boy having long hair ( not only it being against the majority but because people immediately point you out as some kind of surf bum stoner ) it cannot attest to it giving better energies from personal experience. Also people seem to have more respect for me with a bald head, pretty retarded I know but thats how it is.
Getting to my point is it not true that hair is already dead when it is on your head and therefore it would either following the logic of the thread starter draw or hang negative deathly energies near your crown chakra or create a barrier.
I notice most monks shave their heads ( as mentioned before Egyptian priests did but this is probably relevant to hygiene ) and they seem to have more mastery over these energies than most. I cannot actually train in martial arts with long hair because within minutes I will be overheating and chundering all over the floor. It could never be deduced as such because there are too many factors however Chi energy seems to be based on an infrared and/or electromagnetic frequency so it could be considered possible as some claim to have found the specific frequency. It would appear kundalani/qi/orgone is closely related to astral/warp energies but if these things are the same or not I havent got a clue.

My mum suggested thinning it, but never got round to it, I fancied dreads but I worked with a guy and he said you didnt wash your hair which put me off, but sikhs dont wash their hair, well ones I knew and they had the cleanest hair,beacause of the natural oils cleaning them, apparantly.

I don't think it's that simple that hair gives you strength. Why nowadays it's normal for women to have long hair and men to have short hair? Does it mean that women are stronger? I don't think so. Maybe hair has some mystical meaning, what kind is impossible for me to know right now.

Long hair has power because Hair conducts the Holy Spirit (The natural electrical charge, or life force, that is everywhere, the soul of God Himself). Notice how in the story of Samson in the Old Testament, His Hair was his power. The laws of the Nazarite are, no cutting hair, avoid alcohol, avoid corpses, I believe. Samson was a Nazarite. Avoid alcohol because water also conducts the Holy Spirit, as in Genesis, first chapter. Water conducts electricity, alcohol cuts down on water in the brain and the body. Don't touch it. Corpses have the energy of death (anti - Holy Spirit- life force) surrounding them and it's not good to be in proximity if you can avoid it. Do not cut your hair, ever, do not even cut the split ends. DO NOT PERM OR BLEACH. OR DYE. DO NOT APPLY CHEMICAL STYLING PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND OR HEAT STYLE. It conducts best when wet (for example during baptism), so don't blow dry it, ever. Do not shave unless you absolutely have to, anywhere on your body. This is why angels love beautiful hair. This is why in Islam it is said the body of the Archangel Micheal is covered with fine hairs (so to hear the suffering of the people) and so it is, all angels have fine body hair. There is more to this but this will make it easy to understand. And try to keep hydrated, also by the way. Also, APPLY ANY KIND OF OIL OR GREASE TO YOUR BODY AND HAIR WHEN YOU HAVE THE CHANCE. ESPECIALLY THE TEMPLES, EYES. TRY TO BLESS IT FIRST and if you are lucky enough to have a priest or clergy member around, have them bless it. OLIVE OIL, like at the grocery store, works great! Even drink a little to coat as much of your bodies surfaces as possible. OIL/EYESALVE ALSO CONDUCTS THE HOLY SPIRIT/NATURAL ELECTRICAL CHARGE, VERY, VERY, WELL. Just some tips.

Actually the biblical story is symbolic. It is also said that the 13 blessing descend from God through his beard, but this is just used to symbolise power. I know many long haired people who are very weak. Why would God and the angels have hair and beards, etc. Also, in some culture such as the Egyptians, priests would shave all hair from their body as it was considered an impurity. They would also shave animals before taking them into temples.

Because they run in packs. Alone they're ignorant 'simpletons' at best and quite cowardly, but like a jackal, their strength improves with numbers. Besides they're no more powerful than anybody else- they're only as powerful as you let them be.

I haven't cut my hair since '03 and I don't trim the multitude of split ends I have either. I went from a 'military' style hair cut as I was in law enforcement, to growing it all out and now it's past my shoulder blades. I think the split ends keep it in check to tell you the truth. I had to fight for my rights to grow that hair too, and had to site the charter of rights and freedoms under freedom of religion, to grow it out, and trust me, when you say that you are now following native spiritualism, you pretty much paint a huge target on your forehead...needless to say I'm no longer in law enforcement, by choice.
I practice martial arts and am not encumbered by it- tie it in a pony tail or braid (that's why native warriors braid their hair by the way). I may sweat more but sweat is good for you...it is cleansing.
There is power in the length of your hair- why do you think native warriors used to scalp their enemies; you're taking that person's power, to put it simply.
