The ongoing controversy and facts concerning mobile phones has seriously got me wondering whether I should continue to use my mobile phone.
I have overwhelming needs that I must use it although I can't help but think it's affecting the way I think. I've been slightly irritable lately after using it more.
I feel its use is dumbing me down too.
Should I continue to use it or not?

I've noticed this dumbing down effect with other technology too.
Satnav, for example. When it's in the car, I tend to have it on even with routes I know perfectly well. And when it's routes I'm less sure about, I become dependent on the thing.
And yet if I don't have the satnav in the car, I remember the routes perfectly after all, just as I always used to.

Even GPS systems, geez! What type of Matrix are we living in where even GPS systems can fuck up brains! I'm pretty sure after I decide to ditch the mobile phone I prolly will stop giving a fuck of other technologies that cause brain damage. There's just too much of it to resist it. Even if our brains are fucked from it, it's an illusion anyway!

Well it's up to you really but you could try changeing the way you use it first.
I think the phone masts and tetra masts are the bigger problem as you cannot get away from them in the UK. I still have a phone as it necessary for my work but I generally only use it for incoming calls. I Keep the calls as short and sweet as possible and use it on load speaker so you don't have to place it close to your head.

Thanks iPod. Yeah I absolutely agree. I think it's best that I place restrictions on its use rather than ditch it altogether.
However, the reason why I'm having trouble restricting its use is because I'm not even sure to what extent mobile phones damage the body. Can they still damage DNA whilst having it near you and not just against your ear? If anyone knows the answer to this question it'd be great if you could answer.
I've already decided to use a mobile phone with earphones that way you can talk to someone without having to hold it against your ear and with the added bonus of people around you not hearing what the other guy is saying.
