Great documentary giving insight into the story of John Lennon's involvement in the Peace Movement and how the US Government both saw him and reacted to that
It paints a human picture of Lennon as a genius artist and a human being as vunerable as any of the rest of us, and i found that truly inspiring
In particular, I love this quote from early in the film
@09.25
"The thing the sixties did was show us the possibility and the responsibility we all have. It wasnt the answer, it just showed us a glimpse of the possibility"
Those seeds planted are rising to the Sun right now...
As we know, when we look within to see our responsibilities, and our possibilities, for ourselves....

Say you're looking for some peace and love
The leader of a big old band
You wanna save humanity
But it's people that you just can't stand.

When asked by TV reporters " Do you think that Ringo Starr is the best drummer in the world?" He responded:
"Ringo? He isn't even the best drummer in The Beatles!" :)

So, did anyone manage to find the time to give this a watch?

I watched this recently on video. I thought it was interesting that they never showed it in the theatres where I live – a fairly hip place (Boulder, CO). I saw a preview for it and was so anxious to see it on a big screen...kept waiting...it never came:(
John Lennon is an all time favourite for me. Watching this film made m wonder why we are so apathetic and non-reactive these days – especially in the US. I realize that part of it is a few more decades of stress, bad food, brainwashing, materialism….but I had a strong knowing just the other day that there may be more going on. And that is….
that we do live in different times and there is a sleeping giant about to awaken. It reminds me of C.S.Lewis’s Narnia where Aslan allows himself to be killed on the stone table knowing that there is an even deeper magic not even the White Witch knows. I see how so many people are breaking conditionings and barriers, and it seems that what these times include is a (relatively) quiet but serious intent on continuing to move forward, and then when the time is right, well, we might be surprised at what we do! If that makes sense…

thanks for the video link JW
i'll give it a try later.
My take on Lennon is that he was used but then realized it and started spilling the beans.
therefore he became liability, as anyone is who has large following but who does not play by the illuminati rules.

Nice one King. The Beatles were definately used by Tavistock, thats fairly clear, and there have always been suspicions about how Yoko Ono got teamed up with Lennon, and Lennon himself was no saint, but I do believe there was a human heart within that man that is an inspiration to us all. Of all of the "fab four", Lennon was the one to break his chains on many levels

Thanks for the video link King, gave me a better insight to the actual man that John Lennon was. He came across to me as being very human and very likeable. Almost 'an innocent' regarding world affairs, but very brave as well.

yes, i think that Lennon made a quantum leap in his awakening, he has risen in his awareness to a very high level, lot more than the rest of the beetles had archived.
Yes, Yoko was a very mysterious character and who knows what her role was? Just a wife or bit more? I am not sure if she was Tavistock product or what.
I am surprised that this video was not shown earlier.
As i am watching the video i can understand that my suspicion was
right on the money as WHY they had to get rid of Lennon -- he had potential to redirect the energy of youth and refocus it on the establishment therefore opening millions of eyes of young generation.
He could had initiated a revolution against the establishment and therefore he became his liability.
thanks again for this movie link.
