Has anyone in their area ( Im in Glasgow uk) seen buses with tvs on them?

Its shocking I get on the bus and your hit by really loud adverts and film trailers, one of the trailers was that W film about george bush and they stole a great talking heads song, making him look cool, annoyed me even more than the fact Im having this crap forced upon me.

The last thing I want to hear first thing in the morning is really loud adverts and film trailers for whatever rammed down my throat, isnt on all buses and its just been recently that the volume has been truned up to this ridiculous level that has been annoying me the last couple weeks.

You sometimes get, sure its called the bus gallery and its like a mini art show thing with differnt paintings I dunno what its all about, but who chooses this stuff and what is the point in it? I thought at first if it was just that then it wouldnt be too bad but then I realised you still didnt have the choice to watch and listen it was decided for you.

Ive been threatening to say something to the driver but not got round to it, ive just tuned it out with my book. Some folk just sit and watch it like robots its mad, total mind control the way people stare blankly at these stupid loud adverts just taking it all in. I really should contact the bus companys or go on their website and see what the point in this mind control operation is, oh the point is mind control with the tv.

Luckily im going back to my old place of work next week and I get the nice quite train, my thoughts go out to the passengers of the 62 run by first in Glasgow!

To me it makes perfect sense.
Buses and tubes should have tv or at least radio to listen to.
It would make the journey much better.
And yes there would be adverts but in many ways i am in favour of this kind of advertising because it is totally logical.
Could help subsidise fares.

There is a problem on London Underground in that Ken Livingstone handed over all the advertising space to one of his zionist buddies.
Adverts of tubes is an excellent idea.

They have them here, except its cctv - a few live camera angles of the bus so everybody is facing forward looking at the screen as it rotates around the people on the bus. Made me absolutely livid when I saw them (from outside, if I was on the bus I don't think I could keep my mouth shut about it, dunno)

sick as hell

No man its bad, you dont have a choice wether you want to watch or not and all it is is trailers for films and adverts, and I dont think its going to subsidise fares. It didnt bother me in the past because it was silent but now a lot of the buses have it blaring really loudly smacks of mind control through tv and I for one am totally against it!

Ech yeah we have them down here, too.

Usually crap for tourists and airhead trivia questions about New Zealand history punctuated with an incredibly loud voice telling you what street the next stop is on.
