I dont know if anyone has seen the same headlines as me but, it seems the police are putting extra men on the streets on nights of the full moon.
They say that at the time of the full moon, people are more violent.
This was on the yahoo front page. One bouncer from a nightclub actually said he would be checking the backs of peoples hands- of course I immediately thought that he really should check his own hands first ;the palms!
Also noted there was a bit about "on pay nights the trouble seems worse"-of course its bloody worse- people have more money on pay days.
Where do they dream up these excuses for them actually losing the plot

Sorry but I actually have to disagree with your view on this - the moon is a powerful entity! Hence the phrase 'LUNATIC', for the effect it has on certain individuals. I sometimes have trouble sleeping during full moons, although I dont go mad or grow teeth :D. My viewing of this in the media was more that the TV media was treating it like a joke, and laughing at the suggestion that the moon could do this. No doubt they were informed to report it in this manner. After all, admitting to something like the effects of the moon would be a littel too natural for their liking. Heaven forbid people understand the reality and power of nature.

I seem to have a lot more energy around the time of the full moon, but I am not as hairy as a werewolf though ha ha.
