they are a strong anti-psychotic usually prescribed at 2mg or 4mg although i know of someone who is on 10mg a day.
as for getting off them i can't help

You cannot safely ween yourself off, go to your GP or consultant psychiatrist and get them to start a gradual reduction, although I guess if your asking for advice on here you probably aren't gonna tell any health professionals your gonna stop taking it? Why do you want to stop taking it? If it's because you feel you're better and don't need it, then you should realise it's the medication that's making you well. Think about it.
