If he voted against the war as you say, then it's rather strange that he has not announced an immediate cease to all military activities in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Instead he has chosen to pursue the war in Afghanistan, indeed to intensify US efforts there to 'defeat the taliban' or whatever.

But if he is pulling out of Iraq then he is removing 140,000 from there and putting only 20,000 in Afghanistan. Wont really work though as the enemy doesnt tend to just live within the border of Afghanistan.
