It's cause they like everything from their days when they was kids and teenagers cause that's all they can remember. Anything in the modern generation that I'm from of the 80's and 90's my Gran especially would complain about what happens in our generation of the 80's and 90's.
Grannies would even complain about your Music cause it's not of their time such as Old Time Musiclas, War Songs and Classicals they would see yours as boom boom boom that's all they can hear and in Movies how against the law it is they'll be like that with you if you lived next door to them if you was in your teens and 20's and 30's.
No disrespect it's just that's the way Grannies are.
Yet she'd have loved you even if you went through it.
