I just posted on the thread about spongebob asking why sex is the predominate subliminal. Then i clicked on this thread and got the best answer I could imagine. Thats good stuff. Im gonna save that in my notes. Good stuff indeed. I threw a few theories out there as well. They mostly coincide and validate your more advanced answer. For instance, a child in his/her early teens or younger is immature. He/she cant process the complex emotion required for making love. Love to a young child is mommy daddy love. Not s strong point I know Somtime I have a great deal of trouble articulating my truest thoughts. Last one! another point is really intersting to me, and your theory helped me see it in a differant angle. But Sex is the ultimate tool for mind control. Hello, I have just joined this forum. Last night, I watched a pretty rubbish film called Escape from New York. It was made in 1981. In one scene, the characters enter the world trade centre and need to climb the stairs to the top. When they enter, I noticed graffiti on the wall. There is things such as 1 2 3 BRICKS. at least one serpent and the pyramid capstone with the rays emanating around it with a cross instead of an eye. Surely not all coincidences? I rewound it and took a screenshot which I have attached, I have altered the levels to make it brighter.

Episode of Ben 10 . My lads really into this show and I must say I dont mind watching it with him from time to time. (every day)

The other day we were watching an episode with Bens parents in it. Right at the end Bens Dad takes something off the wall and mounts a space weapon in its place.

Well, not exactly a tv spot, clive, but one of the most highly symbolic disney films ever. I took my kids to see it about 10 years ago (or something like that) and even then all the stuff with the doors leading to other dimensions in time & space, struck me as really way-out for a kids film. For those of you who have followed the Battlestar Galactica TV series here's something you may find interesting.

Recently a feature movie called 'The Plan' was released in DVD. This relates the cylon side's of the story.

For those of you who are not familiar, the BSG storyline is set 150,000 years in our past. The cylons are a cybernetic slave race created by humans which rebel and then leave the colonies after a bloody war. At the beginning of the series which is set 40 years after that war, the cylons come back and wipe out the human civilization (the 12 colonies of Kobol who bear names very similar to the 12 signs of the zodiac). A fleet of human survivor flee and sets out to find earth, a mythical 13th colony.

At the end of the series, the survivors settle on 'our' earth and it is revealed that modern day humans are all descendants of a cylon/human hybrid.

In 'The Plan', in one of the scenes, we witness the cylon forces attacking and annihilating the 12 colonies of humans.

However there's a 10 seconds sequence which is very odd in that context.

This is supposed to be an image of a fleet of cylon basestars about to nuke a human colony. However look at the planet's landscape.

This is the earth, our earth. Conspicuously below the cylon fleet lies the Persian Gulf. We can easily see a large part of the Middle-east. Iran, Irak, Saudi Arabia, Turkey. One can make out the Red sea, the Black sea, the Caspian and Mediterranean sea.

So what the frak ?

Notice the large urban agglomerations around the Persian Gulf and what would be north-east Iran/Turkmenistan. These days those areas are mostly desertic...

Hmmm.... So what do you think ? Are they sending us a 'message' here or is this just a blunder from the visual effects team ?

It is always full of some sort of symbollism. If you watch Katie in particular she has been around the industry for a long time even had a record deal. She has flashed the eye symbol on numerous occassions and also before she sings the preview video always ends with her creating an all seeing eye and a triangle with her hand. This is not a coincedence, it wouldn't suprise me if she was destined to either win or something similar, she has had the ritual humiliation with all the bad press now she is being guided to victory or a recording career.

The best time to watch for symbollism is when the guest acts appear. Point in case Michael Buble this weekend, throwing up the horns for no reason at all.

It was on the BBC 1 o'clock news, article about the increase in European budget and there was a distinct single eye logo for the E.U. which was on some big TV screens. Can't find it on You Tube but probably will be posted at some point by the BBC! ;)
