The team behind the global phenomenon "The Da Vinci Code" returns for the highly anticipated "Angels & Demons," based upon the bestselling novel by Dan Brown. Tom Hanks reprises his role as Harvard religious expert Robert Langdon, who once again finds that forces with ancient roots are willing to stop at nothing, even murder, to advance their goals. Ron Howard again directs the film, which is produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, and John Calley. The screenplay is by David Koepp and Akiva Goldsman.

When Langdon discovers evidence of the resurgence of an ancient secret brotherhood known as the Illuminati - the most powerful underground organization in history - he also faces a deadly threat to the existence of the secret organization's most despised enemy: the Catholic Church. When Langdon learns that the clock is ticking on an unstoppable Illuminati time bomb, he jets to Rome, where he joins forces with Vittoria Vetra, a beautiful and enigmatic Italian scientist. I will see this movie but only for its entertainment value not its realism.
Tan Browns books (and movies of books) have bee entertaining for sure but they are nowhere near reality.

His next book is reported to deal with Freemasons and the beginnings of the USA. Ample fodder for thelucifer.

Very interesting. When does it come out? Is this a "mainstream film"? Will I be able to go to the theatre and watch it? Sorry for the quesions, but I haven't heard anything about this yet and I can't find anything on the net. That, and I live so far back in the boondocks we still have to import sunshine...

Definitely a mainstream movie, so it should be showing in most theatres, unless it is a bomb. Now I believe there are Freemasons involved in its making so ...

As for the release date I do not know.
I understand it is in post production right now and that it is targeted for release sometime 2009..

Angels and Demons is the prequel to The Da Vinci Code by the way.

I agree that there isnt much realism in his books, but they do contain a few facts, although some might be misleading, and they are entertaining for sure.
