Paragraph three outlines their gestapo style "papers please" approach. The article pretty much has nothing to do with binge drinking and everything to do with the further erosion of civil liberties.

Taken from the above posted link:
"The unemployed will lose their Jobseeker's Allowance if they turn down any job after several months on the dole, while lone parents may be forced onto JSA rather than income support when their children reach the age of seven."
So the credit crunch is going to cause people to lose their jobs. Has anyone actually seen the type of jobs which are advertised in job centres, very low pay with very long hours most of them, driver jobs, warehouse jobs and traffic warden jobs, there are never any roles like i do advertised or anything over £18k a year and I live in London. £18k a year is almost on the poverty line in london, what with the cost of rent, council tax and living being so much higher than the rest of the country.
So if i lost my job, i aint going to want to take a drop in salary or career path and the governement will then force me to be a traffic warden or i dont get anything.
I see another contributing factor to the supposed civil unrest.
If only we could sack or make redundent Gordon Brown and force him to find a job in these horrible supposed job centres and then see what he thinks, about his new policy.
