I was born in England, but moved abroad some years ago.
For the past couple of years I've been telling people that I never want to visit Britain again until the end of the fascist / totalitarian state which I saw emerging.
This article is another confirmation of the sad condition of what was a great place to live.
** There was an interesting comment from a Policeman (or ex-) who writes that many of his colleagues / former colleagues are concerned about the drift into a fascist police state.
Some police are tossers, like in all walks of life, but there are others who are brave and decent.
Let's hope that the decent officers make a stand against the drift into darkness!

I expect that most people in this country will be more interested in crap like Strictly Come Dancing and X-Factor when real shit is happening in this once great nation.
The people of this country have took it up the arse and been royally screwed. It's like talking to a brick wall when you try to alert them.
Hopefully, most American people won't go the same way that this country will inevitably go, as they'll be the next nation in line for the same treatment.

See what you mean largejack but I wonder if pali_gap thinks that if he/she takes the ID card he/she will be able to say no to the PTB and getting the verichip easier as he/she already has a chip and his info stored in the card??? Has anyone thought of this as surely the people who have an id card will find it easier to refuse the microchip than those who don't have one??? Not that I will get getting one of course.....just a thought!!;)

I think you're being a little optimistic there, once people have sold their identity to the state and signed a contract to say as much, it won't be long before the convenience of having a microchip and not getting fined every time you misplace your card, will soon take over.
We must say no NOW, and that means on every issue not just ID cards, we are at the centre of that crossroads Icke keeps talking about. There is no time to accept ID cards and hope they'll stop there, because they're not!

After reading this thread & the other thread about David Icke talking about the upcoming war....I am also having that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, for the first time, since I've been reading about all this. Our Canadian government is currently being overthrown, despite our voting in this government last month. Our democratic vote is meanginless it seems. Scares me as to the real reason for this move. One could say that the heavy boots are marching faster and faster to our front doors now.
It seems the people are dead inside.
We have been literally reduced to one.
Now singled out they move agasint us.
As the sheeple crowds move in silence.
The prison walls are built around us.

This is very interesting because without the Police then there stupid plans are scuppered. I know some police leave a lot to be desired but from my experience there are some decent guys in the force and they are stifled by rigmorole.
If we can consentrate on this momentum and give them our support then it could be a whole new ball game..I believe there is a similar opinion in The Forces..we need to unite not fight?

This plan will just about finish the public's already strained relationship with the police. Almost everyone will end up being, or knowing someone, who has been prosecuted to some extent, for not being able to produce identification. I think that if you are stopped and asked to produce ID, you should not do so, it is up to the police to identify you.
There has to be some plan of resistance written up, how to make it so the police do not see it worth their while carrying out this atrocious plan, being made to act like some form of occupying force, instead of a public service making the streets safer and upholding the rule of law.

Via the interpreter the police will have to call,I'll explain I mean no disrespect to the police,am sorry to tie-up their resources,but am doing so precisely because,as a civilian,I am maybe more able to take a stance for this country than a member of the authorities.
The onus really is on us.I'll bet plenty of authority figures hate the way this country is going,but they go along with it because they fear losing their jobs and not being able to support their families...

I for one am now wrighting a legal letter that will be sent to the government and will require a answer.
If i dont get an answer then it will be leaked out.
This letter will will be to much for someone to resist asking questions anyway enough said.
