Another trick I have been thinking about is to learn how to shift our focus towards our inner feelings. We have been programmed by society to all the time focus on external things. We need to be able to focus on both our inner feelings and the external world.

An example of this is our desires. Our desires have been 'hijacked' by the system and we have lost our desires for feeling good independent of external things. We need desires for both inner independent feelings and for external things.

As someone who receives the "number sightings" myself, and has logged my numbers, synchronicities, and so on, I can relate to what you're talking about.

In my own situation and various people around me in life, this is what I've noticed when it comes to numbers and other signs/symbols:

1. Somebody else can have their particular "numbers" that seem to follow them around in life, and it seems that it only requires mere awareness of their numbers for it to suddenly "transfer" over to you. This I've seen time and again. I've had other people's numbers transfer over to me, and in turn, my numbers have suddenly become other people's numbers. The common denominator was awareness. In a way it becomes like a virus. It's really strange. My brother's number "141" transferred over to me back in 2001, which in turn spread to my boyfriend after he came into my life and started hearing about it all in early 2002. Now he gets it all the time over the past six years. Conversely, a guy we knew from a messageboard and became acquaintences with via email and such had his particular number "137"........which has now spread to me and my boyfriend. I never got that number in any noticeable way.....until repeatedly hearing about it from them. I only get it every once in awhile, but, that's more than I ever got it before!

2. You can also choose your own numbers and suddenly they will start appearing to you all over the place. I noticed this back in 2001 as well. I started using certain (meaningful) numbers in various passwords and such back then, and lo and behold........now they started popping up all around me in life, following me around in uncanny ways, and they've been following me around ever since.

What I've clearly seen for myself is that the more you pay attention, the more weird "stuff" starts happening. On the one hand my tendancy has been to describe it as part of the awakening process. You know, you start to emerge from the trance-like slumber that this society's got everybody in, and the universe in turn responds. Now you've got signs and roadposts and such, guideing you on your way. Because many times, these meaningful number sightings and synchs were clearly spilling backwards from events coming up just around the corner. (time moving backwards and all that fun stuff.) I'd get the 141's just before some negative something or other was about to happen, kind of like a forshadowing warning, alerting me to something and making me pay more attention, be on guard. And it's pretty much always been right, and as a result I've been able to sidestep certain stuff. So it's good for that anyway. Prior to getting numbers, there wasn't anything alerting me to stuff, except maybe my own intuition. (which I still have. Now I just have both.)

But on the other hand..........there was no denying the slightly viral aspect of it all. That's always nagged at me. So for that reason there's not a black and white, polarized situation of either the numbers/signs/synchs/symbols are all bad, or, it's all some positive fluffy new age divine guide post. It can be a mix of both, but I'll be honest......I'd love it if the numbers would stop. It was novel for the first few years, and utterly amazing sometimes with the way some of these number sightings occurred, but I'm totally over it by this point. Enough already. At this point it truly bothers me and makes me feel icky.

For that reason I won't entirely disagree with what you're saying. I think there's truth to your points, and it's caused me to re-examine this topic (which has been of great interest to me since I write about it on my site.) If you don't mind, I'd like to somehow post a link to your post, or even quote it with a link from my write up on number sightings, because it's an interesting point of view that I think should be considered.

Mastering these attributes means that you use them at the right time and in the right place. This is because The source (god if you will) creates only what is good, beautiful and true. There are no bad characteristics as such, and no bad forces, but only wrongly used characteristics and wrongly applied forces, eg, if we talk in the wrong place at the wrong time the divine gift of speech is turned into satanic chatter and gossip ;)

I like your post.

Several times I've seen synchronistic hints about something and I believe it's important, but then it turns out not to be. Relying on outside signals can make you obsessive-compulsive and also to make you lose faith in your own abilities to affect stuff.

Usually the signals are regarding some girl I like. That makes me think I create the synchronicity by both my mind and emotions actively desiring her. It's not that fate is trying to tell me she's the one, although that's what I'd wanna believe.

I like to think of numbers as a control system. The nature of my existence revolves around 3, but when I find I have been under the control of drugs or alcohol, or some succubus biatch, I would see the satanic codes everywhere. Even after acknowledging this numerology as evil, I continued to look for guidance through them which has always steered me in the wrong direction.

Could it be possible that there are a few divine numbers, but are outweighed by the sheer volume of satanic ones?

Here's a crazy theory I have formulated in my head:

I was born on the 27th day of October

3x3x3 = 27 .. 3 = circle 27 = spiral?

I was born with a cowlick, so I literally have multiple spirals on my head lol

Oh, ok , well I don't make associations with the numbers, but I'm sure there are some who read many conspirarcy sites who will develope a paranoria to the variable number displays. If though, it does mean something, then I missed the point.
