There are two planets that have seemed to be aligning themselves over the last month and a half to two months. I live in the western hemisphere of the globe; Delaware USA (East Coast for those that don't know). Looking toward the western sky, approx. 45 degrees they are the two brightest objects in the sky. I have a CELESTRON NEXSTAR Telescope (D=60 mm F=700 mm Coated Optics) that I use. I looked at them the other night and could clearly see one with three moons. That seemed to be the closer one. The other was just very bright and I could not make out any details.
Anyone?

Mars & Mercury are aligned at the moment, but so are Jupiter and Venus. If one of the planets you see has 3 moons then that is Jupiter. It actually has 4visible moons so the fourth was probably obscured. Look again tomorrow and you may see it.
