The Campaign to Make Wars History is an association of peace activists working to end war. Horrified at the casual way in which the US and UK Governments violated international law by waging war on Iraq and Afghanistan killing thousands of innocent people, peace activists set up an international civil obedience campaign to force Coalition Governments and leaders to obey the laws of war.
Politicians who start wars break the law and breach their oaths of office. To be effective the laws of war require politicians to obey them, police to enforce them, the public to uphold them and offenders to answer to them in court.
We will stop governments from waging war by ensuring that police arrest leaders who start wars, courts try politicians for complicity in war, taxpayers withhold taxes that pay for war, armed forces refuse to fight illegal war, businesses refuse to supply weapons of war, journalists tell the truth about war, the public learns the laws of war and Parliaments legislate to prohibit all war.
By convicting the leaders who start war, halting the funds that pay for war, immobilising the forces that wage war and disabling the weapons with which to fight war we will end war and the killing in days. You can help by joining the world’s first civil obedience campaign pursuing the path of peace, justice and the rule of law.

..Great stuff..I agree !! Too many people brainwashed into believing what the Govts tell us. This really IS stepping outside of the box !
We will stop governments from waging war by ensuring that police arrest leaders who start wars....
That's unbelievably simplistic; naive actually. Sorry to construct such a negative, but precisely how do you think you will do that?

I can't believe there isn't more about this on here.
Saw this guy on that show on EdgeMediaTV.
If as many people as possible all download that form and use it to report the criminal offence of genocide committed by Tony Blair et al then it cannot be ignored!!!
For evil to succeed all it requires is for good people to do nothing.

Excellent thread, first I've heard of this so I shall be straight over to edge tv to find the interview.
As for it being simple, the best ideas usually are!

Now I know why some people get so exasperated and feel the need to start threads like "What Is Wrong With You All?" or "You Lot Are A Disgrace!" In fact, I feel one coming on soon...
Honestly, people are good at discussing a white girl being called a 'white girl' by another white girl, but a thread about actually doing something to affect the world we live in gets ignored.
If you saw a crime where someone got killed, you would report it.
If you saw a crime where lots of people got killed, you definitely should report it!

Yeah, I suppose if you'd started off in the 1930s you would have had Hitler arrested. Sure.
Laudible notion, dipstickish implementation.

What do you suggest then? Go back to watching Hollyoaks and listening to Lady Gaga?
Or are you one of those who thinks voting in the general election is gonna change things? Pathetic.

I'm not quite sure how voting in general elections is irrelevant, but going into a police station and reporting Tony Blair for war crimes is relevant?
Here's a quick hint for you - the police are not actually independent of the politicians, and the law is there to serve them, not us.

If as many people who vote went into their police station to report the crimes committed by Tony Blair, Jack Straw etc., then this would actually be doing something that could not be ignored.
The police are there to serve us, or at least they should be, and taking this action would pinpoint the corruption in the chain of bringing those criminals to justice.
