im in india, and there has been no mention of this whatsoever.

edit: the video was posted in june '07, and i dont remember seeing/hearing/reading any coverage on this.

nope jesta, there have never been any ufo sightings here, much less deem it common.
i personally believe that ufo could be an intelligence/spy craft.

That looks like 2 me a fighter plane or drone deploying flares to confuse incoming missiles. Could have been a millitary exercise!!

this did sound very far fetched to me initially, till i read it closely the second time around.
it could be something of a military nature, considering the india-pakistan conflict. pakistan has been trying to infiltrate the border for a couple of months now, so i guess it could be an air force object after all.
i just wish there was a mention of the area where it was spotted. we could have understood the situation better then, because if this was over a 'conflict' zone im 100% certain it would be a military craft.

Exactly what I thought, can't see the movement up close as there are no points of reference but they do look a lot like flares, especially when you sometimes see two emerging together. Probably testing them out.
