Only the police or security services can actually bug your house. The local council has to bug the house next door. They're not small, bugs. This one is a large DAT recorder sealed in a plastic suitcase, with a wire that leads to a microphone on a stand. It's not exactly Mission: Impossible. It certainly doesn't feel like a spy mission. It just feels like two helpful chaps in ties, fiddling with a high-tech Walkman. But maybe that's just me.

They did bug my home, and sent adverts to my door and email, to let me know they knew what I was up to!

The reality change I was getting into, was too - true for them, to handle !:)

Yeah I had the sinister mailshots inside council material last year, along with threats of legal action over council tax. Someone else tried to convince me, that the head of the housing was bribed with a £50K bung to let them bug me from one of the flats in the block I use to live in. They waited for me to go away on holiday and then they came in and changed the wall lights and hid baby monitors or something similar inside them. They also intercepted the cable feed to my modem and controlled the internet connection. A few others methods were used.

Erm, you didn't have a 'mentally deranged' person crash into your car (whilst you were still in it...)

and you weren't into some sort of DNA research, were you... ? :)

(hope not - the first one)

What reality change would that be?
