Early eve, late afternoon Nov 20 something crash landed in Canada. Most likely in Saskatchewan. [update]
They are trying to keep it hush hush. Eye witnesses say it was massive and landed with a thud in a low population region. Also, an orb sphere seen in some videos.

Know one knows for sure where it landed. However the first published videos etc were seen in Edmonton.

A botched Japanese missile test might be related.

That's what happened when a satellite fell in South America. A missile defense test.

I live in edmonton, and I saw the very end of the "meteor". I first noticed several flashes, then looked to my left and saw what appeared to be a beam of light. They said it might have disappated in the atmosphere, but this thing touched the ground where I saw it. Edmonton is in alberta, but the flash was seen as far away as manitoba and one person I heard said the employees at their sister store in saskatchewan saw it too and thought it was right outside of their city as well. This thing was incredibly bright and lit up the sky, quite amazing, I've never seen anything like this before.

Whatever that UFO might be.
I think it could've been smaller than it appears by it's light emission.
I set my first guesses on damaged/shot down alien-spacecraft. Eventually the elite-media will have to report on it and create a phony explanation as this was too big of a sighting.

would a meteor create that flashing that was seen?

I would imagine anything is possible with "lighting" in regards to debris/meteors flying (falling) about our atmosphere. I would believe its a meteor too if it wasn't for the stinging fact that a LARGE med-intermediate Ballistic missile was launched NOV 20 2008 @4:25 ahst (Alaska-Hawaii) time from the pacific base. This missile was within its range where the supposed "meteor" was seen. These Ballistic missiles are sub-orbital space cruisers. Who knows really.

Update: After further investigation, I am embarrassed to say I had my time zone figuring out of whack. If the "meteor" was seen @ 5:30 pm MST then the missile would have had to be launched @ 2:30 pm ahst time. It was launched @ 4:30. Damn I hate time zones, ;)

I'm not sure that footage was from the recent incident.
