This is very interesting, as it could go either way. The film is either proof of the whole "2012 cataclysm" scenario or it is a huge bit of disinfo that feeds into the fear that David Icke said was to be created in the countdown years to 2012. I certainly think it is obvious that this film is being made for a specific reason, its columbia pictures with that damn illuminating torch for crying out loud.
Some more opinions on this film would be interesting.

My thoughts were that it would possibly be disinformation. Maybe the Natis (short for illuminati) just wanted people to be aware of this stuff and dwell on it. Energy harvesting of any sort is really important right now. Whether these things are true or not, they are meant to create some type of energy that has a purpose for something. It looks like a good movie though. I am looking forward to seeing it.

His last film 10,000 BC was rather interesting as an idea, that old white guy ruled sheeple by pretending to be a big alien(or maybe he was one, movie never made it clear).
Movie itself was melodramic peace of shit ofcourse, but like I said R. Emmerish has some good ideas, he can't seem to wrap them up in an intellectual film, but hey as long as stupid shit sells why not.
