Did anyone watch the programme on bbc4 about the father of the lead singer from the eels?
ive always been a fan of the eels but didnt do much research on their backgrounds etc. i knew his mum and sister commited suicide but didnt know much about his father.

Yes, I saw it online, but it's been taken down!:(:( I found it fascinating. Hugh Everett used to theorize about other dimensions many years before mainstream physics followed in his footsteps. Everett's name is mentioned in my beloved Philip Pullman's Dark Materials books. Mary Malone, one of the characters who's a physicist says "It's all in Everett's work" when she's discussing about the gates between ther various worlds in the story.

They're a wonderful fantasy trilogy!:) Northern Lights (Made into the film The Golden Compass last year) The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass.
